You need to do a better job at screening your drivers. I was at the intersection of Kipling and North Queen at 106 pm on November 15th and your truck driver tried to cut me off. I had a baby in my car and it I didn’t honk my horn, your driver would have ran my car in. Your employees are a representation of your company. Not a good look.

Despite asking for morning delivery and calling twice, my bin didn't show up until well into the afternoon when my front yard was piled high with junk and my work crew was gone for the day, leaving me to hand bomb all the (heavy) scrap myself. The drop off location is less than 2km from their depot.

They're OK, but order it the day before you need it.

Strong dislike for a company that is not transparent and sneaks around until discovered.

No one wants your clearly terrible, unsafe, and unprofessional drivers coming through our town all day long, every day. Retraining seems to be in order - learn to master what you're already managing, instead of spreading yourselves dangerously thin for more profit.

No traffic study will fix or even address your employees "flipping the bird" to the public.
No one wants your tailgating, honking, aggressive, disrespectful drivers here - seems to be a trend far more extensive than 'one bad egg.'

These stories and photos about disgusting and dangerous situations from across southern Ontario should be humiliating for York1.

...almost as embarrassing as your employees coming on here to leave positive reviews about their employer, certainly to combat the negative driving ones, as if they aren't a conflict of interest.

UPDATE: HEY YORK1, WHICH OF YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE YOU PRESSURING TO LIKE THE COUPLE POSITIVE REVIEWS OTHER EMPLOYEES HAVE LEFT? 😉 THAT'S CUTE.

Great experience with renting one of their larger bins. Customer support and drivers were all professional and very pleasant to deal with.

They offer competitive and transparent pricing and we didn’t experience any surprises.

Will use their services again and 100% recommend!

Truck Y1315’s lane was coming to an end today around 4:00 and instead of braking and waiting his turn he forced himself into my lane and hit my truck. Luckily my mirror folded in, but this could have been much worse! He then went on his phone to take a picture of me like it was my fault!

This is unbelievably unsafe behaviour from this company. Give your head a shake!!! Your drivers are going to kill someone!!!

Update: I called and left a voicemail with their fleet manager, and they couldn’t even be botgered to call me back…

When York1 bought Budget Environmental they stopped paying me for the cardboard they picked up from us. When I called to inquire about when we were going to get paid for the cardboard I could not get anyone to call me back.

This company hires very inconsiderate drivers that endanger others.

Massive pick up vehicle left barricading the pickup line at wonderland... creating havoc and danger for pedestrian. The driver was on his phone idling either unaware or just plain inconsiderate.
