Spare yourself money and headaches and DO NOT deal with WM. They lock you into long term contracts (despite what their website says) with all kinds of extra fees hidden in the fine print. They charge one price for regular pickups and 3x that price if you need an extra pickup. When you try and cancel they’ll charge you a liquidation fee; ours was over $6,200!! Customer service is non existent, I’ve been left on hold several times for over an hour just to be hung up on and having to call back to speak to someone. Then they’ll promise to call you back to resolve your issue and NEVER do. I’ve been a customer for 7 years locked into a contract that will cost thousands to cancel. What a nightmare!! Hired a lawyer to dispute the contract and extra hidden fees/random price increases that I was never notified of.

About 6 weeks ago my mother and I experienced a flood. Our entire basement flooded in our storage and we had to throw out alot of damaged stuff, we contacted WM for a large bin for our project. The lady was very understanding and gave us an amazing deal. They did not charge us a daily rate and only charged the base rate and we where able to keep the bin for how long we needed. The dropped it off the following day no issues and after using it for a few weeks they picked it up no issues. We where originally quoted 1100$ for the largest bin but it ended up only costing us 733$ for the time we had it. They where extremely professional and understanding and really helped us out when we needed it. Highly suggest going with them if you have any projects that require a bin. The largest bin they provide was perfect for what we needed, and couldnt have had a better experience.

I have been dealing with this company for over 14 years and I am very satisfied with their service. The fact that they have their own locks on the bins make it even easier as I no longer have to worry about leaving the bins unlock overnight for the morning delivery.

Needed 3 40yd dumpsters for 40+ days. Was all set to use this company but their website makes it impossible to get in touch with them via email. I needed the bins dropped in specific locations and had a PDF of my site plan showing where they needed to be dropped. Spent 40 minutes trying to find an email address. They try and make you jump through hoops on their website (Virtual assistant - useless, FAQ - Not helpful). WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO HARD FOR ME TO GIVE YOU MY MONEY?

We live in Hanmer. They never pick up the weekly household garbage with there being a new rule. It’s gotten so ridiculous. This week, they did not pick up our garbage can because it had “loose items”. Everything has to be in bags now? How many old pairs of pants or old shoes have ppl put into a garbage can without being in a bag? Their reason was , “ we can’t handle the garbage”. A garbage can is dumped into the truck, they don’t pick it out item but item ffs. They wear masks and gloves. What’s the difference of something being in a bag or not I hope the city chooses to go back to their old contractor soon. This is getting silly.

It would be nice when they come and pick up our recycling and if something falls out of the bin or the truck that they will pick it up instead of littering!!!!!!
