Nails and screws falling off trucks. I am either picking them up by hand on a regular basis when I walk in the neighbourhood, or I am picking them up in my tires. This is getting expensive for my workplace and I. PLEASE, work with city of Toronto and have the street sweepers clean the area more often.

Beware of Waste Management POOR service and UNFAIR practices!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with WM company. Here are the issues I encountered:
The services are significantly overpriced compared to industry standards. They add extra charges without explanation and billing is consistently inaccurate. They make it nearly impossible to terminate the contract and their cancellation policy is punitive and they charged hefty fees without any prior notice. The customer service is abysmal, getting a hold of them is incredibly frustrating and time-consuming. Responses are slow and they are unhelpful in resolving issues. Shockingly, they canceled my service without my consent, leading to unnecessary hassles and after that I received an invoice for liquidated damages that was not disclosed or agreed. It's frustratingly difficult to communicate with them and get straightforward answers.
I strongly advise potential customer to reconsider using WM company .My experience highlights their unethical business practices and lack of customer care.

Account manager signed us up on renewal. I indicated we did not want to have auto renewal and we would continue relationship. Was assured this was organized... Office has no idea. They do not honour whats indicated in our contract. It is a fight just to get anyone on the phone that can help deal with things... No call backs. No follow ups. No help.

Edit: Team seems to be better and more communicative. Better 👍🏻

Driver hit the wall with the bin 3 times causing minor damage and WM will not repair the damage.
WM misses a lot of scheduled pickups. They charge me for the missed pickup unless I call and request them to not charge for the service not rendered on that date!
Most of the time they are on time and do a good job.

Do not choose WM as your waste collection company. Extremely overpriced and impossible to get out of the contracts, as well as renewing contracts without your consent!!! Always dreaming up new charges to inflate billing!! Stay away!!! You have been warned!!!
