This morning (1/30/24 @ 9:30am) this Window and Door Showplace driver wiped out the retaining wall of my neighbor at 2426 Observatory Pl, NW, Wash., DC, and when I told his helper to report to the homeowner the damage they did, he said "yeah" got in the truck and they drove off. For this reason alone, Window and Door Showplace showed me they have no respect for customers or communities, and I will do everything I can to recommend other window suppliers and promote their disrespect for communities they work in. Had a great experience with this company for a new ProVia front door. Got several bids and this was the best. They were good communicating on timeline and throughout the process. The installer was excellent: said he had done thousands of doors. I believe it. He came back to confirm measurements and then was in charge of installation 7 weeks later when door arrived. The peephole exterior glass was scratched a bit during transit. Window and Door came back and replaced that. Service technician was quiet and respectful because my toddler was napping upstairs when he came to replace peephole. Professional, quality experience all the way. Will definitely be back when I need a door again.

I ordered two storm doors at the excellent Alexandria location. The Sterling location was responsible for installing them. They arrived at the warehouse before Christmas, but were installed two months later, only after prodding. Apparently, the company does not have enough staff to handle installations when one employee is out. Two comments beyond that-- I was not given a manual, but instead referred to a QR code on one of doors. Who wants to read a manual on a phone? Also, the company did not pre-fill the warranty so I will have to conduct a search for my paperwork in order to fill out the warranty information.

We will have to agree with the previous statements about the poor customer service provided by Windows & Doors Northern VA. We contacted Mike Simpson via email, and exchanged several messages relaying our measurements for an interior door and transom. He responded with clarifying questions, which we answered, at which time he told us he would send a quote for the project. We never heard from him again. Subsequently, we decided the poor service may be due to one employee, so we went to the Sterling location and met with a salesman there. We again provided all of the information given to Mike Simpson. He took notes, and promised he would send us a quote 'in a day or two'. That was over a week ago, and we have again heard nothing since. If Windows & Doors Northern VA does not want our business, it would be better to state that up front versus leaving a customer expecting service that will not be provided. With the plethora of media sites today where references and reviews can be publicly posted, it is surprising that this type of deplorable service is provided by a company in a segmented market area.

Very poor customer service.
You have to call them 10 times to get someone to come fix issues under warranty.
In my case, after showing up and took notes about what needed to be done, they never followed up and when I called again, they just keep postponing and claimed the issues are not related to warranty.
Very dishonest service .
I recommend calling Marvin headquarter with warranty issues.
