I would highly recommend Wilson's. They recently installed a new heating and heat pump system in our home. Everything that we were told in the initial meeting took place. The quote was the quote. No trying to upsell us things we didn't ask for or come across unexpected additional costs. The installation crew was very patient with me and took the time to answer all my questions, no matter how basic, during the installation. I was able to reach out to Troy whenever I needed to and he was always quick to respond. Great experience dealing with Troy, Newman Electric and the installation team!

Editing my review as Wilsons did a great job rectifying this issue. I will say the phone system doesn’t make it easy to get to the right place whoch contributed tk my problem, but the credit team has been incredibly helpful and willing to work with the customer to make things easier.

Delivery is fine, no complaints. The billing department is my issue. I’ve reached out a couple of times over the spring/summer this year to set up equalized billing. Was promised a mailed form and when that didn‘t come, left a voicemail with finance and never got a call back. Now I’ve missed the deadline for equalized billing and was just passed to finance again to leave another voicemail. Why? So they can ignore me again? Please do better Wilsons. Its going to be a struggle for me to get this season’s first oil bill paid now and this was completely avoidable.

We’ve been with Wilsons Heating several years and they never cease to amaze with solid ongoing after purchase care. They don’t say we care about the customer they show it and not just once.
Ben from Pleasantville NS was here today touching up rust spots on the propane tank. Ben has been here a couple times over the years doing the annual maintenance service on our propane boiler and propane water heater and every time he has the same I care about having you as a customer.

I paid Scotia HVAC $300 to have a technician come out and diagnose the problem with my mother's furnace. No problems with the technician but five weeks later they were still waiting for a part and my elderly mother had no heat. Called Wilson's, they asked for model numbers, confirmed they had the parts and repaired her furnace the next day. Their customer service on the initial call and the service recieved were exceptional. I highly recommend Wilson's.

While sometimes we look for problems with vendors, it's nice to share good stories too. We recently were looking to replace or upgrade our home energy systems and Wilsons has been a decades long provider of furnace oil, forced air heating as well as oil fired hot water equipment. The team was extraordinarily patient and helpful to walk us through our options, including immediate costs and long range projections. The menu we decided benefitted especially from the experience and knowledge of Dave Fisher. He could write a manual how to handle this kind of complex process with good humour and flawless tracking of all the loose ends that might otherwise go astray. When it came to install our proposal, the on-site team of Austin, Pat and Cary were respectful of our home, pleasant to be around, and did an excellent job including cleaning up afterwards. They even installed a temporary carpet runner to keep from tracking things in or out of the house. Overall it was a reminder that an initial low price may not be a bargain if its based on bad advice, less than expert or sloppy workmanship. We are happy to be Wilsons' customers and would recommend their Home Energy Services team to anyone.

I recently had a propane boiler and domestic water heater sold and installed in my home by Wilsons Heating. In a time when contractors don't show or return calls, it was a very pleasant experience to have a company come out and really care about my needs. From David in sales who came out numerous times to make what I wanted work, the technicians who came to do the work were friendly, professional and listened and answered any questions I had, and last but not least Andrea in Admin getting it all started and organized. Great to see such professionalism.

Had my furnace cleaned by James. Very polite. The impressive part was his candid advice to me in regards to water heaters and heat pumps. Even though it may not benefit Wilson's directly, it does. Shows that he cares about the clients. Great employee to have.

I also had an electric water heater installed by Tim and his team. Great Job. There were issues, but they got it done and at the price quoted.
