I have been going to this place a few years now and the staff are very friendly and helpful. At times will come to your vehicle and take your electric items to put in the bins. Any cans or bottles that don’t fit in the self serve you just take them up to the counter. I have also done the drop bag and they will help you with this also. I highly recommend this place.

Willowbrook recycling is the closest to my home and have used them numerous times. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and as bottle depot goes it has to be one of the cleanest out there. Tomorrow I go again, but this time not only will I be dropping off my bottles and cans but old paint cans and used batteries. I make some money and feel good about my helping the environment……

The automated machines are nice, and will tally up your total refund, spits out a receipt, which you then feed into a money refund machine. However, some glass bottles were not accepted, such as for olive oil, and I was told I had to take them back home and put them into our blue recycle bin. I find that strange.

Willowbrook is the best bottle depot I've ever been to. The staff was very helpful and nice, the machines they have are really cool and its the cleanest depot I've experienced. 10/10 would recommend.

Its really dirty and smells awful. I know its a bottle depot but the conditions are particularly gross. Staff are entirely standoffish and seem as if they are annoyed they have to help you. Obviously, its not a great job...But why do a job involving customer service if you clearly don't want to help customers. Go work in the amazon warehouse or something if you don't want to speak to anybody. 0 stars if I could situation.

Well after going to Surrey .previously it was heaven first time I dident get the ickys walking into a bottle depot ...give 10 cents and great service.my buddy and I kept looking at each other and smiling
We knew we had our new bottle depot ..thank-you don't ever change !!!!!

Update: they have no signage (yet) that they pay full price of 10¢/beer can inside the place if you do it yourself but HALF PRICE @5¢ per can if you use return it express. (Licensing issues for them but it costs those using express). Cost me only $1.60 this round. Second time, years apart being burned with lower rates because of beer bottles or cans.

If better signage was in place I wouldn't have left my empties there when most other depots pay full price on beer cans and bottles.

Crooked depot. Left my return it express there and got paid $5.70 on 73 containers:
Non-deposit container2- no $ ok - though I don't think there was even one.

Was told they pay less on beer cans on the line + using 7¢ or 8¢ per beer can gets numbers like $2.24/$2.56- the only way I can get $5.70 is by adding both cans of 25+32 with no payment for the wine bottles, milk jugs or pouches. Ripped me off more than $1.50- done enough times in the day that they would make a killing.
The worst part is that I asked the girl at the depot before dropping it off if they pay full amounts for everything and she said yes. I only went there because I wanted to drop off a couple of light bulbs too (found out they don't take styrofoam or glass jars, go figure, my regular depots do.)

A great place to drop by and drop off your recycling.

They accept bottles, cans, wine beverage containers, electronics and plastic bags. There are a couple automatic beverage sorters where you input applicable bottles and cans and the machines will keep track how much you earned. The machines will reject bottles and cans not applicable for refunds like out of country purchases and missing bar codes. The machines also cannot take large beverage containers like milk jugs. Once you are done, you take your receipt and all unaccepted and large beverage containers to the front counter. A staff member will dispose of your leftover beverage containers and add on additional refunds on a separate receipt. Lastly, you bring both receipts to a machines near the exit for scanning. The machines will dispense the money you earned through coins and bills. You can throw away your receipts on a recycling bin on the left side of the cash dispensing machine.

The overall place is not the prettiest but functional. The parking lot is small and there can be debris on the roadway. All machines worked well but even then on some days, you will have to wait in line for a machine to be available. In front of the machines is a platform where you can place your stuff. However, it can be sticky and have debris on it like dirt, bottle caps and broken glass. There should be increased cleaning and clearing of the platforms. The staff was a women who is friendly and helpful, sorting materials efficiently. It can get noisy in there from the sorting of cans and customers dumping cans on the platform. The floor can get wet and slippery so be careful.
