Bill Doubled with Fuel Surcharge and Tipping Fee!

Needed a Bin for a renter that moved out and left a mess. Contacted west bin and the gentleman in the yard gave me a quote and stated that there were tipping fees and fuel surcharge but did not inform me that this would double my bill. I know that it is out of west bins control what the landfill charges but I do feel it is poor representation not to inform customers that it will most likely double you bill. The quote was for approx $500. deposit was given for $1000. We had the bin for one day. after the bin was picked up I had to call the office and request my receipt, which took two weeks to be emailed. I was credited for $14. When speaking with the company they belittled me and stated that I should have worked out the tipping fee per metric ton! Yes I take responsibility for my part in this but feel it was shady and if it had been mentioned that the fuel charge and tipping fee would /could double the cost I would not have been surprised at the bill. The reason for this review is to warn customers of the fuel charge and tipping fee so they are fully aware of the cost before requesting this service.

I have been very impressed with Westbin. They provide our waste disposal for us is at the Child Development Centre in Prince George. Their staff have been professional, and the price of their service is dramatically lower than the company that we previously dealt with. I also like that they are local.

The drivers were professional and helpful with request of placement of the bin. I am impressed that it cost less than expected and would use this company again and recommend them to others.

Great to use. Don't use them if you don't pay your bills though. I hear they give you your garbage back.....
