$200 dollar deposit required for new customers? It just does not sit well with me, nor should I have to provide a credit/ history check to show I can pay my bills like an adult. I guess this is what happens when there is only 1 option for a service that is required. I used to like Monopoly as a kid but not so much in real life as an adult.

Well we had trees on our property and was told by a worker at Hydro One they are Westario hydro responsibility. I and my husband have call/emails to them over years. It's always pass the buck. Then got long detailed phone message from a worker there about they could drop line and I could have someone come cut trees down.
People across the street from us have trees same place as ours and they have a hydro truck timming few times a year for years and the truck says Westario. I find there customer service sucks.

I called Westario on Fri. Dec 29, 2023 at 10:00am for assistance. I was redirected to the after-hours answering person. The office is closed for New Years. The office is closed for 4 DAYS for New Years. Absolutely ridiculous. How can the office of an essential service be closed for 4 DAYS for 1 day statutory holiday

Have been dealing with Cheryl Lahn over the years with some accounts and she is a Great employee. Always has helped me with my questions and if she doesnt know gets me answers right away. Always emails back the same day. Is Polite and very helpful. great doing business with her..... Thanks

In January 2023 a brand new meter was installed. Now in July 2023 Westario power tells me the brand new meter is not being received at their office. Even though I have been paying bills all year. Tech won’t come to house because scared of me two sweet Hungarian pointers one which is a three legged dog and the other is 16.5 years old.
Super inconvenient for a shift worker to be home and Tech could not tell me if my next bill will be large even though I have been paying bills since start of year. Get better equipment. Figure it out last time this gets done.

I spoke with a customer service rep about changing from TOU usage to tiered. She explained where to find the forms on the website and how to complete and return them online. A confirmation email and notification of the date of the change was in my mailbox within the hour. I’m very pleased, given that this was over the holidays, and the operator was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Having been a customer for only two months, take this review as you will. The customer service rep I've been dealing with, we'll call them CL for some anonymity, has been fantastic!

I assume no one really enjoys paying for electricity, but the rest of the Westario experience has been top-notch so far.
