Update: Owner has reached out to address my concerns and is attempting to get everything resolved. We are scheduled to have additional conversations during the next weeks to hopefully get things on track. This appears to be a positive step.

Urbenex is now over 18 months overdue in delivering a functional digester, which is concerning given their initial promise of a 5-6 month timeline for a commercial system. As an investor, I've found their lack of communication and responsiveness particularly troubling. The company has consistently failed to meet various commitments, and their contractual obligations to some of the investors I'm in contact with remain unfulfilled. I've reached out Steve several times with no response.

WARNING: Positive reviews posted from 2023 and earlier should treated as aspirational as Urbenex hasn't delivered a functional digester.

UPDATE May 2024: Urbenex is 17 months behind expectations in bringing up an operational digestor. This is disturbing as their website advertised 5-6 months for a commercial system. Urbenex is also materially behind on honoring its contractual obligations to investors. Urbenex consistently struggles to make and meet commitments of all types. A year and a half into this investment, I am still not sure if it is real as pictures on progress can't be shared due to 'NDA.' Urbenex also created a new legal entity in the US separate from the one in Canada to enable additional fundraising.

The work Urbenex BioEnergy is doing will not only help farmers reduce their water and carbon footprint but also help reduce methane emissions. I have known Steve a long time and I am very supportive of what he and his team are doing. I am looking forward to many locations here in Ontario !!!

I'm an investor in Urbenex, hoping to see traction in reducing the carbon footprint of dairies. We need tens of thousands of these digesters in the US, but currently only have 400 or so. This one is a good fit for small to medium sites.
