Convenient location with friendly, helpful staff. While it can take a bit of patience to get in or out due to traffic on the main street, drivers generally seem aware of the situation and will often stop to let cars exit the depot.

Best to go here on off hours as the traffic along Unionville main Street can be quite hectic.

Also note that there isn't much parking here as really there's only enough spots for maybe 3 or 4 cars at a time to drop off your stuff.

Other than that, the people working here are quite friendly and helpful and it's in a garage structure so you're shielded from the elements as you drop off your waste.

it's very convenient for exchanging the broken garbage bins only few dollars expense.They offer raccoon 🦝 locks 🔒 for food garbage bin that is very useful.

Since moving to Markham, we were in search for a recycling depot near us. We found Unionville Recycling Depot online, and it is located on the busy Main Street in Unionville. Staff are friendly, helpful, and has great guidance. We dropped off plastic bags here for recycling and also there are those blue textile recycling bins outdoors collecting clothes, linens and old runners that are too old for donations. Like many reviewers mentioned, the only thing that is inconvenient is the parking. I think max the lot can fit 3 cars or so. Backing up can be difficult due to ongoing traffic on Main Street, so be careful when you're driving!

It's a great place but it's hardly accessible being on main st unionville. It's just an accident wait to happen with the markham drivers.

This was my first good experience in the new year!! The area was considerably ckean and everything was in order. Nahid & Fariba, 2 lovely, friendly, and cooperative ladies working there, literally helped us with sorting, dumping & finishing the job with a nice sweet smile. Cheers to both of them.....Cheers!!!

The staff there was super friendly and gave me a hand with things I couldn't lift on my own. Had a brief conversation with him and he was very nice and also not pushy for conversation, just overall very likeable. I was able to drop off everything I had. They even have a little book spot with free books! I didn't look into it but there seemed to be a lot to choose from and I could probably spend half a day just looking at them. It didn't smell in there and was quite clean. All in all, great service, accessible location, just a little scary trying to get out of due to limited space to back out before hitting the road.
