Wow what a great place to drop off your old hot water tanks. Stove. Dishwashers. Washing machines. Dryers. Fridges. Pretty much anything that has a plug in they will take it! Plus they have a shed that has free stuff. Nice friendly staff on site.
I Would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

If your ever looking to drop something off make sure to give this guys a call to see if they take if. They probably will.

Thanks guys!!

They went from $3 /bag of garbage to $0.21 /Kg of waste. (Which sounds great). But there is a fee of $19.25 up front, regardless of the amount you bring in. I had to drive in to find this out. They don't answer the phone. It goes RIGHT to the voicemail. Here is the wording on the site, verbatim:

"All site users will be charged for their garbage materials based on the weight of their materials. The 2024 rate is $0.21/kg. An additional per unit fee of $19.25 will apply to all mattresses."

To me, this says it is $0.21 /Kg and $19.25 for each mattress (if you have a mattress to throw out).

Very misleading.

lol this dump used to be a real dump. I’d be scared to drive up the dirt hill to the garbage bin in case something punctured my tires. Now it’s completely redesigned, organized, all concrete and very clean. It was a little frustrating before because they would charge “per garbage bag” or per “truck load” and my truck bed isn’t that big. Now they charge per weight, so you pay on your way out. I had some garbage bags today, what would have cost me almost ten dollars now just cost me $4. I think that’s reasonable. Also the service today was great, the gentleman working was so pleasant.

Hit and miss. They say they take all sorts of things on the website, but when you actually go it depends on whos working it seems. Generally good luck dropping off oil, got turned away when wanting to dump some old gas - just going to have a fire instead I suppose.

This place has been upgraded and redesigned in 2022. It's very user friendly now and allows more room to drive up and around the bins. A much better experience than in past years!

Good staff but prices are far too high. Recycle centers need to be supported almost exclusively by federal, provincial and municipal taxes to ensure universal patronage. Living in a rural area, we see junk like couches, appliances and even an old piano thrown into the ditch. If these people had a legitimate place to freely dispose of these items, this would stop.

Went there with 2 bags of garbage and a lawnchair and got charged 25 bucks insane pricing. I can see why bags of garbage and stuff are littered on all the range roads and down by the river. Clover bar landfill charges 20 per ton maybe you guys should get on the same page WHAT A RIP OFF
