When I switched from Superior Propane to West Nova Propane, it was the best decision. Chris and Patti stand by their product and service. Even when I had an issue with my generator, Chris would come out and made sure that my problem was resolved.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend doing business with this company.

I recently had an installation and fueling experience with Total Energy, a local business that provides heating installation and heating fuel. Despite some initial issues, I am happy to say that all outstanding matters have been resolved and I would like to recommend Total Energy for their prompt and courteous fuel delivery service.

When considering a heating system provider, like Total Energy, there are a few things to keep in mind. Firstly, be sure to ask about climate sensors, as this region has swing temperatures and this option can be beneficial. Secondly, ensure that all documentation relevant to the installation, such as the manual, is provided and take the time to review the basics with the qualified technician. It’s also helpful to have any screen icons explained and referenced in the manual.

Remember, you are spending your money to obtain a product or service they provide, so it’s important to have a fair and equitable transaction. Like any home repair, make sure that the scope of work is understood and documented.

Overall, I would recommend Total Energy for their fuel delivery service. From order to payment, their service is prompt and courteous

Terrible service. Total Energy installed a propane stove for me 2 years ago and I have only used it a few times because of a minor electrical issue. I’ve been waiting months for service this time just like last year when the same issue arose. I’ve paid thousands of dollars for a stove I can’t use and total energy shows no concern.

Watch out if you want to buy a Napoleon gas fireplace from Total Energy - they will only service and support the fireplace if you buy your propane from whichever supplier is their current partner.

I bought a Napoleon fireplace from them in 2013 and signed up to a propane supply contract with Wilsons - who was the Total Energy partner at the time. When Total Energy was bought by West Nova Propane, they encouraged customers to switch propane suppliers. I chose not to switch and now Total Energy will not service the Napoleon fireplace even though they continue to be an authorised Napoleon dealer. I even purchased a replacement remote control for the Napoleon from them and when it did not have the right connectors, they did not support that problem either. After trying for months to get a response, I was told that their "company policy" is that they will only service and support fireplaces for customers who use West Nova for their propane supply - even Napoleon fireplaces that they have sold.

If you bought a new car from a Ford dealer, you would not expect the dealer to refuse to service the car. Ford dealers don't put in place "company policies" where they will only service your Ford car under certain conditions - such as having to buy your replacement tires from Ford, or have all your oil changes done by them. So why does it work this way for an appointed Napoleon fireplace dealer?

This has all been a very unsatisfactory customer experience.

Ask for qoute to switch oil to propane, got a schedule but the specialist never came. Had to reschedule. Finally the specialist came. Got it checked but qoute never came. Had to call again to ask for the qoute and until now still nothing. Go somewhere else. Too bad my time got wasted.

I needed a blower fan for my napoleon gas fireplace. Not only did they have it in stock, it was cheaper than I could find it online. First rate service. I will shop there again.
