Disappointed :-/ I really wanted to leave a glowing review, alas that's not the case.
Short Story : The receiver they recommended to me and installed part of my project did not have a zone 2 (So no way to drive the outdoor speakers they installed). I am left with an installation that is half working (I cannot use the outside speakers they installed because of that) ... I have been trying to get it addressed for almost a year but no response from the shop.

Long Story : I needed to buy an AV Cabinet for our new house. That led me to one of the Salamander Designs AV Cabinet. I found that the 'Install Spot' was a dealer for it. I ended up going in person to look at it and pick the style. I had a great convo with the owner and ultimately decided to buy that AV Cabinet from his shop. It got delivered and installed and all was great.

My wife and I decided to go ahead with a project with them (installing in-wall + in-ceiling speakers for our living room, as well as outdoor patio speakers + new receiver to drive all of that).
I went with the hardware they recommended. The installation went well, the crew was efficient, and they cleaned after themselves. At the end, they noticed that the receiver they had installed was not going to work for the outside speakers and told me it just needed an extra amp to make that happened and that they would take care of me (Which was appreciated). They had assumed the receiver that they picked would be able to have a zone 2, but that was not the case.

That was the end of it, I ended up paying the leftover balance because I felt that I trusted the shop and their word that they would come back and do what they said they would and complete my project.
Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and wait until that was resolved before paying that remaining balance :-/
I contacted the shop multiple times and did not hear back for weeks. While waiting, I ended up doing some research on that receiver. Turns out that this receiver could not do Zone 2 at all. So if I wanted my living room + patio setup to work in an integrated fashion, I would need a different receiver altogether - Basically needed one that could do Zone 2 so that it could drive both the indoor and outdoor setup.
At one point I received a response, Lee had gone through some personal stuff and he was going to order receivers and let me know when they would come and swap that receiver with a suitable one and setup everything (This re-assured me at that point that I would a get a resolution !).
This was in August, and since then I have not heard back (I contacted them multiple times).
I am left with a setup that does not work for my outdoor speakers and unless I pay $$$$ for a new receiver or hack it to make it work I am out of luck. This is quite disappointing as after having conversation with them, I felt they would do the right thing :-/
I understand making mistakes (They should have double check more thoroughly the hardware they were installing and recommending to make sure it would support our project. It is frustrating, but it's how you handle the post install that shows how good you are).

We had Drew come out to our house and mount/install our brand new TV. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do and where to do it.

He was very quick but you could tell he was particular about every part of the job. Will be hiring him again for future projects.

I found the customer service and follow-up to be severely lacking. If you're spending money, everything is great. If you're not, plan to wait weeks if not months to have your concerns addressed. I am always willing to give businesses a chance but The Install Spot pushed me to the limits of my patience. There were many opportunities for Mr. Lancon to explain the deficiencies of my current setup but he never took the time to do so. I would have been willing address some of those deficiencies and give additional business to him, but he never seemed interested. Every house call, with the exception of the first one, a tutorial, of sorts and the one to install a new 85" TV, was rushed and left no time to have a meaningful conversation re: the operation of my home system. I was left with no other choice but to find an alternate supplier. New business is always a good thing but retaining existing customers is how you build a business! Just sayin'...
