Just left there. Found some items to buy & went to cash to pay. No one around. They were all in the back.
Waited as long as I could, but had an important 📞 coming in.
So I kept the stuff on the counter in a nice pile & went to m car to talke call.
About 15 min.
After my call, I went in to pay or recollect the stuff & pay.
Lady saw me in my car, I was parked directly in front of her full view.
She knew it was me who left stuff on counter as I asked her a question while inside.
I still thought I may have to recollect the stuff.
When I went back in to the cash, she came to me with a smug smile.
Sarcastically saying, can I help you.
Yes, I'm here to pay for the stuff I left on the counter, do I have to...
She cut me off and happily said
"OH, I sold all that stuff to anther lady."
So some other lady came in 10 min after I went to car, saw some socks, 2 bras, an older cell phone case for a specific phone & 1 of those dog screw things for the ground for clipping a leash to & it was exactly what she was looking for.
The cashier says to me in it a smug smiley attitude, "Well, you should had asked for a bag and put it all in a bag" "so, can I help you with anything else.
I said in a frustratingly, "how could I had gotten a bag, I was standing here & no one was here, no where, you were all in the back. I had a call I had to take. I was gone outside for 10 min & your telling me you sold it all.
She continued I a proud way, "Can I help you? With her now more subtle smug smirk.
I will not buy a single thing there ever again.

I went to check out the store for the first time a few days ago. None of the toddler/kids clothes I looked at had any prices. I had a few items picked so I asked the two ladies at the desk how much items would cost as there were no tags. They pointed to a chart with ages and a range of prices for each item. I found this strange as I wouldn't know the price of items until I went to pay. I looked around more, ended up picking a bunch of items and took them to the desk for pricing. There were two items I was not sure would fit my daughter as she was not with me. I asked them if they had a return policy due to being unsure of two items or I would just put them back. They seemed like they didn't want to loose out on selling them. They said if I brought it back the next day with receipt I could get a refund. I live in another town but work close by and said I would try them on her tonight and bring them back if they didn't fit. They rang through the items one by one determining the prices as they went and majority of the items were priced well. Unfortunately the two items did not fit. One item was covered in light stains, I didn't notice until I got it home and would not have bought had I known. The next day I went back with the items and receipt. There were four people working at the desk when I walked in. One was at the front purchasing something so I waited patiently as they chatted. They finally saw I was waiting and the staff member finished their purchase and went to the back room. I said I was there to return a couple items. One of them said abruptly "we don't do that" so I explained the ladies the previous day said I could or I would not have purchased the items. She said "they should not have told you that" she seemed annoyed. I wasn't sure if they would fit so they said I could. She said "that's why we have change rooms!" and pointed to them at the back. I told her politely that the clothes were for my daughter and she was not with me. She responded with "well we don't do refunds here." I said "if you dont do refunds thats fine", I walked out and won't be returning!

A lovely little thrift store! Very community centred, fully non-profit. Friendly staff, clean and the prices are great! A must on my thrifting adventures!

Just came home from trying to drop off a small corner tv stand.
Not realizing that they were closing.
Pressed the buzzer and no one answered.
We proceeded to put the stand by the door.
As we entered back to our car an elderly lady started to bark at us and asked if that was ours very rudely and we said yes and then there was comments suggesting that we could not read. Well here goes, I have just lost my husband recently and I have to down size. She starting to raise her voice even more and stated that they don’t take furniture, but over a few weeks ago they took my dining chairs. Then both ladies claimed that they could call over the police who were sitting in the parking lot.
It was such an ordeal and they did not need to be that way. The polite way would have been, so sorry we are closed and we don’t take furniture. You will have to take it some where else. We would have understood and then there would not had been an issue.
But to-have been implied that we were stupid and couldn’t read or should we call the police was uncalled for.

Love this little local thrift store. Staff is so friendly. Even though it is small, there's lots to look through. Well organized and clean. Prices are excellant. Hardly ever get out of this store without a treasure.

Complete rip off store. It used to be the best one around. But they have since become just like all the other thrift stores. Everything is looked up online and priced highly based on that. Be prepared to pay facebook marketplace pricing on all the good stuff. For a place that gets all the items donated for free, they could price things more fairly. But now all they are is money hungry.
