When Bob came out to do the estimate he was clean, punctual and professional . He had good energy and came across honest and fair. He was knowledgeable and I immediately trusted him

Fast forward to the install , the morning of the install 3 polite guys showed up together, with smiles and introduce themselves . All Canadians, with professional attitudes.

They were patient and took the time to make sure placement was just right. given the specific location we knew some adjustments to the floor pad as well as roof/ rafter framing had to be done to accommodate a straight pipe . They were patient, non rushed and took the time to start slow Tripple check out plan before moving forward .

Not one of the 3 guys had any ego, they were happy guys who loved what they do and worked seamlessly together. They protected the floors, kept things clean as they went , and in the end took the time to make sure we understood the functionality of our new wood stove .

I have a service business myself and this was what you call : Top Notch Service .

I took the time to write this because of how much it means to me when a customer can provide a detailed review for future customers to read.

My wood stove looks like it was meant for this corner. I couldn’t say enough good things about my experience . Highly recommend . 20/10 for The Heat Source

Very disappointed with this company. We did use them about 10 years ago for a gas fire place install and they were great . Two weeks ago they came and cleaned out our chimney - no issues and good service . At same time we booked them to come and service a gas fireplace that was not working . They did not show up for appointment time or day- they did come out next business day and tech was very good - told us exactly what part needed to be ordered . I called several days later and was told we would be called when part came in - never heard anything . A week later , called again and turns out part has not been ordered and they were not sure what part they needed to order - am having to go to a different company now to get the part ordered and installed . I see they are usually rated very highly - likely just a fluke that we did not have a resolution to our issue with the fireplaces or good customer service from office , but I certainly cannot recommend them

Overall I would rate Heating Source 5 stars as they showed up on time at 9:15 am and completed the removal of old gas stove and installion of new stove with vent kit all before 3 pm. The whole process from purchase to installation went very smoothly with no surprises. A week has passed now and we are happy with performance Vermont Castings and our experience with Heating Source. Highly recommend them.
