I don't know what the other reviews are talking about in regards to less than timely responses and improper billing.

Terry has been my go to electrician in Trenton for the past 3 years and I have always been pleased with the service he provides. Very knowledgeable and doesn't try to gouge you on price.

Now that the business has been sold to Glynn and Dan, I have had the pleasure of working with them both on a rather complicated and frustrating electric motor replacement. Both Dan and Glynn have been keeping me up to date with scheduling, they have always been early to site, and they worked all day long in tight corners with a rusty old motor and kept smiling and laughing all day. I won't call anyone else for my electrical needs.

What a refreshing experience. I called around the day before and everyone was too busy despite my problem being an emergency (no furnace, hot water etc... in January). This morning I called at 8am, had a brief pleasant conversation on the phone, and within an hour Glynn appeared at my door. He diagnosed the problem within 10 mins, I asked him about a few other issues, which he was able to solve within minutes. Had a very good experience. As important as anything, Glynn is Very personable, respectful, empathetic, knowledgeable and experienced. Will always call and recommend TSE from now on. His average stars should be 5 and is only less than that because of 1 bad review, which reads as rather unfair.

We are new to the area and were in need of an electrician to wire the new bathroom. After calling a few places and being told they couldn't get to us till the next month, I was fortunate to reach Terry Shortts. He also told us he was very busy but because it was a short job, he would fit us in if they finished another job early. He came out and gave us a quote and the next day, we got the call that they had a few hours that day. They did a great job and I would certainly recommend them.

Very happy with the service at this business. Knowing I was nervous about the outlet problems I was having, they arranged for someone to come to my home same day. Only took an hour but I was impressed with Dan who was really kind, and really explained and took the worry away, while he was repairing my very old home! Called him on four separate occasions, the first time I talked to him personally for an insurance inspection. In that conversion he seemed to be less than helpful, but due to insurance deadlines I decided to go with him. Gave him a three return calls to book an appointment, with bitter disappointment I was answered by receptionists that told me "he will call you back".

Four weeks later - PASSED MY DEADLINE - I still haven't received a returned phone call...
There are many other options in the Belleville/Trenton Area, Don't waste your time

I have been meaning to say what a good experience we had with this company several months ago. I called about a bad electrical outlet and Glynn came I think the next day. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. We are very lucky we didn't have a fire as it showed signs of burning. This older house has been badly wired by an amateur. Not our first problem. Get a professional!
