We have a Gem in this area!! Absolutely Professionally Managed with a focus on customer service. They work and live in this community and take great pride serving their neighbours!
We have utilized their monthly waste pickup service for quite a few years now.
We also required a vac truck on a few call outs last year, we are so impressed with their Vac service!
DRIVERS are knowledgeable and just plain easy to work with (providing us with up to date etas)
DISPATCH: was compassionate and eager to send the first available truck and serviceman !
Previous to Standstone Waste and Water Services Ltd. we got "sucked into GFL" with "low bin fee" but had to sign a multiyear contract where they could increase fees at their whim!! When the contract was coming due they 'Automatically renewed' without our signature on a new contract. We informed them we were not continuing and wanted to change providers. They treated us with "mafia intimidation".. verbally threats.. it cost us hundreds of dollars to get free of them! But it was worth it in the long run! We will never sign up with a"mafia style"multinational provider ever again!
We will always use Standstone Waste and Water Services Ltd. for all our waste and water needs, not just because they are local BUT because they are an Ethical, Well Staffed and Managed Company.
Be assured, you are not sacrificing anything by "supporting local" with Standstone Waste and Water Services Ltd. in fact you are getting the best of the best that is out there, right here !!

We have used the services of Standstone and prior Chico`s for over 30 years and we have always received prompt professional service at our home in West Cove. With my involvement with the LSA Pilgrimage, Standstone has gone above & beyond to provide portable toilets, septic,waste and fresh water services to ensure the pilgrims and visitors were well served. This required a large amount of coordination and Standstone met the challenge. Thank you and I look forward to working with you again.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Will and Trevor from Sandstone Waste and Water. Last night, we unfortunately hit the ditch. We were in deep. Will and Trevor, were able to pull us out after they had responded to a late weekend emergency call. We are so grateful for these Men taking the time to help us out
