I recently used the services of the Riel bottle depot to organise and run a bottle drive for my son's soccer team. We opted to stage out of the bottle depot itself, but they do offer the option of driving a cube truck to a location of your choosing, for the collection of empties. The staff at the depot were helpful, accommodating, and quick to provide us with guidance and assistance throughout the event. 100% recommend for your bottle drive needs.

I recently visited this bottle depot, and I had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the process of returning my bottles and cans quick and easy. I had been going to this bottle depot for about 25 years, starting back when my sister and I used to count up our parents’ bottles in replacement of an allowance that our family didn’t believe in. Fast forward to now, I live around the corner from this bottle depot. It was, until recently, exclusively the only bottle depot I used. I recently brought in what I thought was my biggest load in years. Needing the money, stacked full of wine bottles and tons of cans. I left with $25. It wasn’t a rip off, it was a slap to the face for decades of loyalty and I will never forgive them for that.

Best bottle depot in greater Edmonton! Fast service, drive-through drop-off, friendly staff and manager/owner. Good place for a bottle drive, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

I appreciate the fact they moved vehicles through quickly during my visit, but I took a second load in to another depot on the same day and walked away with an extra $35. There was no way I fit that much extra in my vehicle the second trip. I suspect I didn’t receive my moneys worth here, and will not be returning.

Count your refund! I caught them shorting us $15 from our bottle deposit; which was for my daughter's softball team. When I went back to show them the receipt and money received they would only gave me $10 back.

Make sure to count your cash before leaving - I didn’t because I thought that would look offensive, but wish I did. The screen read $76.75 when I was leaving, when I got home, I realized the guy gave me $61.75, effectively ripping me off $15 from the already ripped off total amount. What a scam!
