SRP did our new addition and despite having issues on going with our EX contractor he still came back finished the job and then did an extra job for us doing all the basement plugs. They are excellent to deal with and Rick is prompt to respond. We will be dealing with them for the remainder of the building project as we still have a lot more to do and shop to wire.

I wish I could give SRP 10 stars. Rick was amazing, big laugh, cheerful, honest and great with our cat. He gave us a very detailed quote and sent Tom and Nick over within a few days. We had a tight timeline for things to align with our kitchen reno and they worked with us every step of the way even though the tight timelines were our fault. Tom is so kind and sweet to our cat and she loved playing with him. Both Tom and Rick took the time to explain everything to us, the volts, amps, what needs to be done and how they would do it etc. Tom worked extra hard to minimize holes in the wall or busting up our floor to recess our oven outlet and I really appreciated that.

In my experience, tradespeople don't clean up after themselves but I was shocked to see Tom sweeping, wiping and vacuuming after they finished working, which saved me time from cleaning! They were recommended to us by Kitchen Cabinet Solutions (Mike) and we're so glad we went with them. They will be our go-to electricians and would recommend them to everyone. Tom is such a people person and after chatting we found out that we both grew up in the same neighbourhoods in Toronto.

Here's the work they did:
-remove a weird fluorescent light we had above our kitchen window, replace it with a beautiful pot light that was centered
-disconnected the dishwasher and old range and made our appliances safe for cabinet removal by Habitat for Humanity
-reconnect the dishwasher (Tom worked with Kyle from Berardi bros to do this. They worked so well together!)
-Install microwave range hood
-install surge protector on our breaker box
-add two new outlets in our kitchen (20 amp I think)
-recess the oven outlet box so the oven would have less space behind it

10/10 would recommend again. Forgot to add that they were extremely professional and the most punctual people I've ever worked with in my life. If Tom says he'll be there at 8, he pulls into the driveway at 7:45 and knocks on the door at 8:00:01 with all his tools and ladder ready to go!

Srp replaced 1 of our smoke detectors last May. Last night we awoke to a loud beeping noise. The unit was defective. We called Srp at 7:30 am and the service tech arrived at our door in less than 15 minutes. What great service. Thank you
