Very nice and clean landfill. Super friendly and helpful staff. $25 per car load. Different bins for garbage, metal, cardboard, yard waste, etc.

Spyhill landfill is the best place to dump, the employees are always very nice and the environment is super chill. Also on the way in and out the worker Dustin deserves an extra shoutout because he works super quick and makes the line move the fastest. Really appreciate the work everyone does.

Excellent and compassionate workers at the Spyhill location on Jul 16 at 3-3:30pm. I brought the remains of my euthanized pet in a box to the landfill as per city bylaw. I encountered 2 workers at the Spyhill location. One worker was at the check-in booth and the other was a worker that met me at the escort location. Both workers showed compassion and sent their condolences. Wonderful job to these two workers and you both should be recognized for this. I hope their boss sees this post. Thank you.

It’s a dump, literally, but that’s not the issue. Why is there never any workers? Why is there always a 10 car line to get out of the place with one gate being used instead of both? Seems poorly run and managed to me

I have never experienced such a happy group of workers - they are so incredibly friendly and helpful. You'd think working with some not so pretty product would make someone grumpy, but these folks are living their best life. It's a very organized system and lots of recycling so you know items are being disposed of properly. It's weird, but I like going here!
