After looking into almost every solar company in my area for my project, I found SolarUp to be the most transparent, very fair with the pricing and helpful throughout the journey.

The quality of products used was top notch and the best you can get in the market. I did a lot of research and could not find better alternatives. Surprisingly their quote was also the lowest compared to many others I found.

They completed a 9.72kW rooftop solar system with 24 panels for me in Oshawa, Ontario. The whole process was very smooth, and they were awesome people to work with. Their installation team ( Lead by Farzad ) was one of the best I have seen, very professional/humble/respectful and the installation was great.
I strongly recommend SolarUp for anyone considering a solar system.
Michael was very helpful all through the journey from day 1. He helped me answer the numerous questions I had all throughout. SolarUp team also guided me with the greener home grant & loan process right from the beginning. My loan from government came quick and covered my entire cost.

I search a lot before starting my Solar Project with SolarUp. First of all SolarUp will give you best price without the gimmick of promotions etc. The Technician (Mobeen) who installed my panels was very profession and knowledgeable.
Michael was very patient with me all along the way, answering each question of mine even during off hours and weekend.
I am going to post my project pictures as a proof as now a days only reviews mean nothing.

I’m a Richmond Hill resident in Ontario. It took me about one year from signing the contract in end of April last year to getting the solar panel installed end of April this year to actually using the solar panels early May this year. I’m expecting to get the government grant of $5000.00 soon (takes 40 days), but I got the 10-years interest free loan of almost the full amount of the solar panels plus tax in early June this year. I will need to pay monthly to return the loan. Solarup was very professional in helping me apply for the loan and the grant, and they responded to my questions very quickly. I paid $480 plus tax for the Ontario 1st Assessment and $210 plus tax for the Ontario Final Assessment, which are not included in the loan. Solarup also offered to install an EV charger for me at an additional cost of $1450 plus tax, which is a good deal with the charger included. Up until now (end of June), I used the electricity from my solar panels without any problems just like before without the solar panels. My system size is 5.85 kW DC. There will still be a connection charge of $30+ monthly from Alectra Utilities because this is their minimum charge even if you don’t use electricity at all. In the summer, I expect to get more than enough electricity from my solar panels and the excess will go to the grid and I will get credits in return which will be used to exchange for electricity in the winter. This is better than getting money and paying income tax. Installing the solar panels will not only increase the price of my house, save money in the long run, but also save a lot of trees! I encourage you to ask Solarup to install solar panels for you.

I'm assuming this company is now out of business and should be.
I was told to expect a payback on my $38000 solar system of about 7 years, based on the first full year, it will take 40 years. My electricity bill for November was almost $200, so this was clearly a huge waste of money.
Secondly, they failed to get inspections done for the building permit , so the permit remains outstanding. The home inspection company they arranged in order to get the $5000 grant , produced an invoice that was not accepted by Enbridge so there was NO grant money paid out. I'd file a statement of claim in Superior Court but it appears they are gone and likely have nothing. Draw your own conclusions.

We were initially looking for solar options for our roof for the long term savings in hydro it would provide in clean energy. We started by searching for solar installers in Ontario and spoke to a few companies to get quotes and idea. Immediately upon speaking to Michael we felt most comfortable with his expertise and approach along with the competitive price. We went ahead with solarup and used mitrex solar panels for the side of the house as it gives that shingles aesthetic look and standard panels for the roof since they're not as visible from the street. Michael and solarup helped with every step in getting permits, they handled all the material orders and installation in a timely manner and we're very happy with our choice and the final result.

The Solarup crew went above and beyond to accommodate our dates for installation. They did an excellent job and their communication was great, always keeping us in the loop. Their price was very reasonable and when they had to spend extra to meet the municipality's safety requirements they did it for no charge. I would highly recommend them for a solar install.
