The patience, care and compassion shown to us by Kelly, Floyd, Dawn and the rest of the team as they helped us clean out our father's home after his passing, is something we will never forget. This was not just a get in and get out job. They meticulously went through everything to ensure we didn’t miss anything of significance. No communication from the company for 10 days after my original call. When we finally connected with someone he gave the excuse that because he was from out of province our insurance wouldn’t cover him. We called our insurance company who said it doesn’t matter if he is from out of province they would pay him. I reached out to follow up, no response in two and a half hours so i left another message at six o’clock pm. Still no response as of six-thirteen.
I hope Servicemaster likes detractors. Never will I recommend them.

ServiceMaster handled my case after being contracted by my insurance company for a pack-out and storage of items. They were punctual, very responsive, and friendly. The pack-out team and office staff were
helpful and prompt to answer my questions. The delivery team was fast and efficient in returning my items after being stored for several months. They packed all my items carefully and handled them well, and I received all my items in excellent condition. I would fully recommend ServiceMaster and thank the team for their great work!

Company ripped us off.

Created a fake estimate because as the team lead stated: "won't come out for less than 1000$ work" Tried charging us 1200$++ for less than an hour work for some caulking.

Took months for them to respond and actually come out to do the job.

Finally spoke to the owner, who seemed to want to resolve the issue and said:" if the job isnt fixed" to call him directly. We called him directly and he said he would get back to us. It has been almost 4 days and no call back

Follow-up: shuts had another company come look at the issue and the issue is being cause by exactly what SERVICEMASTER said was not the issue

I liked that Servicemaster had solutions to what we thought was a unique or impossible to fix problem. They took my call seriously and responded promptly. I liked that your company actually seemed to care about what was going on and wanted to help us. They made themselves available quickly and communicated with us about what they were doing, how much it would cost and shared other valuable information about some things we could do ourselves. The prices were very reasonable and Zach was very personable and knowledgeable. The office staff were also very friendly and helpful.

We bought a house about 6 months ago, and didn’t really try the upstairs shower. Recently we had our new-adult son move back in with us and start using the shower...a lot. Long story short, water damage in our ceiling.

SM was quick to respond to my email, processed my payment quickly, and completed the work quickly. Very little fuss or muss. I would definitely use them again.

A word on cost, it came to about $3500, but they had to rip out old ceiling gyprock, put in the new stuff, manage electrical and plumbing...all done expertly and deftly.

I was very impressed, and will use them again if needed. Thank you all for your work, and expertise.

We hired ServiceMaster to fix water damage and a mould problem that we had in an income property that my wife and I own.

Our initial contact with Service Master was great, however the work was subpar. Every step of the project required my advocacy to ensure it was completed properly. We found that ServiceMaster was hiring third party contractors and not checking on the work that was being done. Had we not advocated for the work to be done properly I’m not sure what we would have ended up with.

We’ve communicated our complaints with ServiceMaster and have not received any reparation for the hassle. I tried to follow up with them a few times and have not been responded to. From our experience we don’t think that ServiceMaster has the time or desire to deal with smaller one-off clients.
