It’s never easy making a transition to a new heating system or new company but Sasquatch is definitely the right choice. From Lauren’s comprehensive overview and endless patience with my questions (plus multiple quotes as I tried to decide which was the best option for the house) to the actual install I have had nothing but the best experience.
Emily did an amazing job organizing all the moving parts & Kate provided a welcome, knowledgeable voice to connect with in the office.
But then I met Tom the electrician extraordinaire! How lucky they are to have such a wonderful, patient worker. No question was too minor and he always stopped what he was doing to ensure I understood the work and process.
Nick & Nico arrived to add to the team and you know they like their job and their colleagues by the smiles and laughter as they worked diligently to get things ready.
On install day Joel, Hannah & Tom were an incredible, efficient team & got everything set up and working. Joel did a great job of orienting us to the new system and all its components. And Hannah with her infectious giggle is fun and competent. A great team & a smooth installation.
But they weren’t done yet as I received a follow up email from Lauren checking in on us about a week or two later.
I wanted a company that would not only install the system but would also be our maintenance team and we know we are in good hands!

Sasquatch Heat Pumps came recommended to me from a neighbour. I'm so glad to have chosen them first to level, then deep-clean our heat pump. The unit was over a decade old, badly off kilter and likely never serviced. Kate at Sasquatch Heat Pumps fit an appointment into my schedule and Shaun came out almost immediately.

He assessed and addressed the issue with levelling the exterior unit and did a thorough inspection of the interior module. After performing a light cleaning as per the details of the visit, he identified a major issue of mold and bacteria inside the unit. This was a leftover from the previous owners, who had likely never serviced the unit. He was prompt, cheerful and professional and I was confident we were in good hands. After he was done, the exterior unit no longer sounded like a seaplane on final approach, but instead like a normal fan operating at optimum efficiency.

Back at the office, Kate was able to book Taylor in for a major deep-clean of the unit. Taylor was also prompt, cheerful and professional and very adept at cleaning out the deepest recesses of the wall-mount unit. After she was finished, the difference was dramatic! Our air smells fresh, the fan inside is quiet but more powerful and everything sparkles!

Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Sasquatch Heat Pumps to anyone needing any type of heat-pump work done at a reasonable rate. From repair and maintenance, to a brand-new unit, I will be more than happy to continue to give them my business. Thank you so much to everyone on the team. You guys rock!

My heat pump at my restaurant wasn’t performing properly so I put a service request in. The receptionist was very helpful and did some schedule rearranging to get me a next day appointment. I repair technician Theo came right on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to identify the problem and had it fixed right away. As a business owner I very rarely write a review unless I am extremely impressed. I will be using Sasquatch for all my future heating and cooling needs.

We were super happy last year when we used Sasquatch for the first time so they were who we called when our older heat pump was icing up this year. Shaun was super easy to deal with and wonderful in pointing out what we should start with before delving deeper. And it turned out his thoughts were exactly what was needed!! No idea how old this heat pump is but it's still going strong! It's not uncommon for some companies to try and talk you into a newer system but each time we've dealt with these guys, we have never felt that. In fact, the opposite. Cannot say enough about this great company! You're supporting local and the work is super quick. Within 2 days you have your heat pump and it is significantly more efficient than our old baseboards. We had ours put into the attic which required a few work-arounds and they were happy to do this. Kevin also helped us come up with a system that allowed for a much better filter. The team is very friendly and were great to have around 🙂
