Brought in a truck load of shred metal. Straight forward weigh in and weigh out process. Clean and organized yard. Not really having to worry about running over metal as you drive in and out.

First time there, bonus that they were open until 5 compared to my regular yard. Will be using them alongside my usual yard going forward in the future.
Nice that they also post up their values for the metal online (although it can change) it gives you an idea as to what you’re gonna get.

(Note: Do not bring wheels of any sort with rubber attached. You will be deducted off your scrap weight up, from 10 to 30lbs per, as they advised me since I did have some in the shred load)

Good prices, friendly staff but way too picky for me, I sort out my copper, brass, and had to justify for a lot of it every time I went. Thankfully there is way better places to go too

Watch them wheigh your materials or they will short you. And give you a worse grade for you metal.

Very honest company, and willing to do whatever possible to make things right.

We recently scrapped some machines. When counting the cash later that night, we found we were short 100 bucks. This seemed odd but possible since the cash had gone through a few hands prior to us counting it . A few days later, we brought another machine to scrap and mentioned to the employee working that we were 100 dollars short the last time we came in. They reviewed the cameras and the books from that day, and sure enough, they miss counted. They were very apologetic and gave us the 100 dollars that they accidentally shorted us.

I have been here a handful of times now, and for the most part the staff have always been super helpful. The yard does feel a little cramped at times (mainly when there's a line of people wanting to exit the yard) but other than that everything has been pretty great. They are also the only scrap yard I know of in Winnipeg that has their prices posted on the website which is a BIG deal to me, it saves me having to phone in, and saves them getting called about it which is why I don't know why others do it. They are missing some prices of the more obscure things but that's not really a big deal. When it's not busy the guy's at the small scale have been very helpful in teaching me things like organizing properly. Highly recommended!

Don't waste your time taking scrap metal here they are very picky and full of attitude! Any other scrap yard is better than these guys! Refusing 800 lbs of metal because of a small glass window that weighs 5 lbs is still connected is way to picky

was very happy with my first visit there. Lady at the wicket explained where I would drive to off load and then come back and get my copper and brass looked at. Chris was very helpful and explained that it I spent a bit more time and took the brass apart from the other metal i would get more for "clean" brass. i will go back again.

Just dropped my first load here. The staff were super friendly, and very helpful for my first time. They don't talk down to you and were happy to explain the process!
