Dealing with this firm was the worst experience I have had dealing with professionals of any kind.

We've hired them for a couple different jobs at different houses.

First, when we went to pay, we were told there was no difference between paying with credit card or other forms of payment. So we paid with credit card in order to get the points, only to find out that they charged us a 90 dollar fee to use credit. I talked with Martin on the phone and he was unwilling to change anything.

Second, when we finally found a contractor that was able to do one of the big jobs that Martin had given us a plan for, the contractor told me Martins plan was unusable because he had missed a very important structural issue. Once he explained to me why it was unusable, it seemed very obvious.

Both the contractor and I each tried to talk to Martin to see if he would create a new plan for us. He told us if we wanted a new plan, we had to pay for the entire job over again, despite the fact that his original plan was unusable. The only other option he gave was a work around to his original plan that, according to the contractor, would be vastly more expensive than just paying for a new plan.
So, we had to pay for an entire new plan. We went with a different engineer this time who actually made a plan that made sense and could be used by the contractor.

Using this company has been nothing but a headache. It has cost us time and money. On top of all that, when we tried to get these issues addressed, their customer service was atrocious.

All in all, everything regarding dealing with Prakash consulting and/or Martin specifically, was a terrible experience at every step of the way. If I could give zero stars I would.

First impressions was poor. I googled "Structural Engineer Prince Albert" they were the first that came up. I called the number just to confirm that they are actually structural engineers and the lady that answered rather than politely confirm that she says in a sarcastic tone "we are structural engineers" with no help statement. I left my number for a callback. Will update further along in process. People who answer the phones should be courteous and no need for any attitude for a simple question.
Update: still no call back.
