I have a problem with missing bags i bring to Pitt Meadows location to the Express window. This month i brought 5 bags but only received payment for 3 bags. When i tried to talk to your Employees on site about my 2 missing bags, they told me to talk to the main office. Main office took all my info and promised to get back to me shortly. It happened last year as well, but it was only 1 bag and i just did let it go as mistakes happens, but twice this month is too much. I'm returning bottles for a senior couple and funds for bags are important for them.

The staff at back were VERY RUDE!!!!!!! Super unpleasant experience. The two Korean men acted like savages. Yelling at us because we didn't know where to put the plastic bags. Why can't you just tell me nicely or put a sign there! Worst ever!!! The one who was in the front counter was nice though.

I’ve been looking for a bottle depot that’s on my way to work, and I started reading all the reviews of several locations in the lower mainland/Fraser valley. I have to say, I was a bit horrified by the awful reviews of most of the lower mainland recycling depots!!!! People that return bottles and cans usually do so because they need the extra few dollars…like me…and it’s pretty sad to read how much the consumer is consistently getting shortchanged, and it seems like so many of the bottle depots practice this, despite being part of a large organization that i am certain has clearly set guidelines and rules for the proprietor of these depots.
I am impressed though, by this Pitt meadows return it center, because of the response by the manager(?)/owner(?) to almost every one of the reviews left here, whether the review is good or bad.
I’ve no idea if changes get made, or situations get rectified after these reviews, but at least management is reading the peoples’ comments and is aware of what’s going on! It seems a step up anyways from the lower mainlands other recycling depots, who just seem intent on making their fortune off the nickels and dimes of the unfortunate recycler who visits them.
So, I’m going for a drop off of recyclables this week to this depot, and will report after that, what I experienced! Hopefully this Center offers better service and more honest mathematics at the cash register!

For the most part this is the best deposit around if you know what to do and how to do it, but that being said make sure you keep a count of how many items that you have (ie. Plastic, beer cans, pop/juice cans, cartons, and glass) just in case the short guy tries to short you.(Even though they pay full price the ten cents per item excluding American cans/bottles
If you were charged a deposit on the American drinks don't yell at the workers at the deposit go to the store where you bought them and demand your deposit back from the store in question because they don't pay one if the item comes from the states check your receipt when buying vanilla cokes/dr. Peppers and anything else that has fluid ounces ounces
If you have questions about what to do I suggest that you try asking one of the bottlers out front of the deposit instead of waiting in line to find out where to put your outdated electronics/styrofoam/bags or if you don't know what to do at all the bottlers got your back with the information you need and they are easier to understand then the workers most times.
Don't bring small children in the deposit unless they are actually helping you with the empties no one wants to trip over your kids playing around under the tables or around the deposit

To recap:
Keep a list of what you have, electronics go on a cart same as paint cans
Don't waste time in line to ask questions,
If your offered help accept it, it's free unless you want to give a tip out but that's not mandatory,
Treat people with respect,
Leave the kids at home

I was there at 5:15 and the store was closed, even though the owner said they were open until 530 today.

Otherwise, the store is clean, and I usually have a positive experience. If only they could convince the "urban campers" to leave the entrance...

Fui estafafo por el cajero chino que cuenta los botes. Por segunda vez... no cuenta bien las botellas. Sin embargo pude ver como le dio mas conteo de botes a otra persona china. Es desagradable

0 stars if I could absolutely the worst bottle depot I've ever been to. The people who work here are rude i come here all the time and they will always find something wrong with the way the bottles are sorted. they do not follow the return it depot's rules and regulations so if you look up how you need to organize it online it will not be how they want it and will make a big deal about it. consistently belittle there customers rude and ignorant they need to be fired cause they are miserable and need a new job. the owner is cool tho.

I've noticed many says it's clean but what they fail to say is that the crates are filthy.
Please ,accommodate them with a power washer to power wash those filthy crates.
