We can’t thank Sal Pileggi custom homes enough! Sal and his team were brought on to help repair our home after tremendous damage from hurricane Ian. Through this process he and his attentive and hardworking team truly treated us like family, being respectful of all the pets and children. We felt comfortable welcoming these awesome craftsmen into our home. The attention to detail is remarkable. My wife and I have just completed an entire house renovation on Venice Island. This was a complete re build including all plumbing electrical interior HVAC insulation roof stucco- you name it. Sal and his team were great to work with. We had some issues with the Venice planning and building department (everyone does) but Sal and his team persevered and helped us to navigate thru those challenges and they worked with us to achieve our our goals for our great new home. The best decision that we made on our project was to hire Sal as our GC. Sal is a strait shooter and a honest man who walks the walk. My wife Paula and I now consider him now to be a friend. Sal and his team were fantastic. My husband is very picky and they worked well to meet his high expectations. Contractors all showed up on time, did great work and were pleasant to be around. We asked Sal Pillegi to partially enclose an oversized courtyard by constructing a home office. His challenge was preserving the remaining courtyard in the heart of the house and matching the exterior and interior styling of the existing home so that the improvements appeared to be original construction. His task was complicated by Covid, hurricane Ian, and related supply chain issues, but he and his work family rose to the occasion. The result was simply amazing, fabulous, and greatly exceeded our expectations. Sal is professional, price-conscious, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail and his client’s issues. He is caring, a great communicator, and hardworking. His hands-on management style trickles down to his wonderful team who are polite, punctual, accommodating, and trustworthy. The work site was always left in an orderly and clean manner. In short, Sal’s family of workers (George, Felipe, Nick, and others) were a joy to have on our project. We did a full condo (3BR/2BA/1500+ square feet) remodel on the island of Venice. We spoke with several contractors, and we went with Sal -- not only because his bid was very reasonable but because he is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and experienced! He has a great team of employees, knows the best subs, how to source the materials you need at a better price and is a great problem solver.
