We had an emergency at our house and someone showed up as soon as they could and remedied the problem right away. The man on the phone was very patient with me, as I had no idea what I was talking about, and listened as I stumbled through what happened. Highly recommend.

UPDATE: the worker showed up to our house and told my partner “well I wish I talked to you on the phone instead of your wife” JUST because I didn’t explain something properly. How tf am I supposed to know what’s wrong Super rude and made me feel dumb. THANKS PETAWAWA ELECTRIC! You’re rude.

I had dealt w/ Vince in retail yrs ago, which led me to be a customer of his over the yrs. Courteous and professional, I have zero hesitation in recommending his business. Kevin and Andrew just left my house today after doing a bathroom fan, humidity switch and outdoor vent install. This was not a retrofit but a fresh install in an older house. They wasted no time and also investigated a problem outlet I had, after I had casually mentioned it.
The outlet was 5 yrs old but had issues when seldom used. After trouble shooting, the breaker was pulled only to find scorching and heat transfer marks as a result, on the surrounding breakers. The panel is likely original to the house ('79) and the plan now is to replace the unit in the near future. Kevin and Andrew were extremely professional and I tried my best to be a good customer by prepping the area they were to work in, provide extra lighting if possible and as much info to Vince to give an idea of what was involved, including a cpl of pics, measurements and fan specs. Zero headaches for everybody. I look forward to working w/ them again. Thanks Vince for scheduling me in.
As for the person that called re the hung up calls, I believe this would likely have been due to dropped calls if by cell phone or landlines issues, certainly not deliberately by Vince. As usual, very pleased w/ the outcome. Kudos to all.

I used this company to have an outlet installed on the outside of my house. Easy quick job, 30 minutes. I needed an electrician to do it due to my lease. I supplied all the materials.

Worker showed up at my place at 8am and I had the area cleared and materials set out. He had forgotten some stuff at his shop and left (he was at my house for maybe 3-5 minutes at this point) This is rush hour in Petawawa and his office is NOT close by. He returned around 1030am and did the work. took him less than 30 minutes. He was quick polite and professional and the work was well done.

But I got a bill with 3 hours of labor on it. I don't remember the exact labor cost but it was around $100 an hour. since I provided the materials this labor cost was almost the entire bill. I called to sort out the bill and the owner balked at my request, told me too bad so sad and to take it up in small claims court and hung up on me.

I ended up paying.

Work was well done and the employee did a great job. But I feel I shouldn't pay the employee to sit in his car for a couple hours.

They are very punctual, they actually show up the day they book appointment and do not cut corners. The electricians were very professional and the suggestions made were very helpful. I have been dealing with Petawawa Electric for over 18 years now and I assure you... they are top notch. After seeing your review, I was perplexed and I spoke with the owner. He remembered your calls. The first two times you called, he answered "Petawawa Electric" Like he always does, but there was no response. He waited a few seconds.. still no response so he hung up. The phone rang rang again shortly after (same number). He answered, and still nothing on the other end. He then suspected it was a hacker, a troll, telemarketer, etc... so when you called again (two more times), he saw the same number, and cancelled the calls. No fault of his I assure you.
