I just want to put a recommendation out there to Penny Roofing. Our roof was only ten years old and needed to be replaced. We got some estimates and decided on Penny Roofing. We are so pleased that we did. Our roof was completed in two days (weather was in our favour) and our house and yard were returned just like before. They were punctual and professional. From tired old roof to beautiful new roof! Penny’s roofing was fantastic to work with. They are knowledgeable and do the install right, which is really what makes all the difference. They sent me pictures and updates throughout the process. They were kind and polite and left our home with no mess or debris. I would highly recommend.
The shingles we went with were Canadian manufactured, BP Signature in Tuscano colour. Big thank you, our roof project went so smoothly and we are very happy with Penny’s Roofing.

Matt and his team were recommended by a contractor friend of mine when a damaging windstorm took a large portion of the shingles off the south side of my garage roof. Matt responded almost immediately after I contacted him and arranged to come and assess the damage. Within a very few days he was out and gave me a very reasonable estimate and arranged to have his team come by that week. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate and while his team was there it really was not safe to be up on a steep pitch in the snow storm with high winds and so much ice on the roof. Matt stayed in contact over the next few weeks as various storms raged and an unusually large amount of snow was dumped. Finally we caught a break in the weather and despite the brutally bitter winds the crew were able to come and fix both areas in about 4 hours. The guys were pleasant and efficient, the work space was immaculate when the job was completed. As you can see from the photos the colour match is great considering the original shingles we already 8 years old. Very pleased with the entire experience and would highly recommend to anyone needing an excellent roofing team! Thanks again Penney Roofing.

Matt and his crew did a fabulous job of replacing the roof on our house as well as our 32'x42' garage. Penney's roofing went the extra mile with emergency repairs due to storm damage and when replacing the roofs the guys were friendly, courteous and very professional while performing their work. Penney’s Roofing did a amazing job on my roof. They are very professional to work with. Great response to my call and request for quote, kept me updated on work schedule and installed a quality roof for me. After the job was completed my yard was cleaned up from all debris. My roof looks great and I strongly recommend Penney’s Roofing !

Matt and his crew did our roof a few years back, so when time for the roof to be done on my Mom’s historic home we had no hesitation in asking Matt to come and give quote. He also had team come out to do an emergency patch over a leaking skylight, which we were grateful for.
We were immensely happy with his promptness, thorough communication, and found workmanship to be excellent.

We recently bought an older home (1864) in the Newtonville (Durham Region) area and after being here for two years we discovered a small leak in one of the upper floor rooms. After a quick search, we found ‘Matt Penney’s Roofing’ and saw that they had amazing reviews and serviced our area. Matt promptly came out to our home to fix the external repair and sold us on a complete replacement of both our home and garage/barn roofs. He understood what our home needed for the age it is and his knowledge, expertise, professionalism, and service is what sold us in the end. He and his crew were on time, polite, quick, hardworking, and professional throughout the entire job. We cannot recommend Matt and his team enough - amazing work all around!
