I had a good experience when I came to drop off some spare copper after a renovation. I showed up, they weighed everything, and I was in and out in like 10 minutes. The guy in the back helping us weigh everything was nice enough to point out that we had some copper mixed in with our brass fittings, so he saved us from missing out on some extra cash. The guys in the main office were helpful in answering the questions I had, and they were nice enough to give us an extra 20 cents per pound on everything for it being our first time there. All in all, I would really recommend going to this place.

Our 17 year old minivan just stopped working and it was parked at someone's place of business. I wanted it removed as efficiently as possible. I called a few places but Palmer Recycling was the most professional and had a quick turnaround for removing my vehicle. They dealt directly with the towing company which was also reliable and honest. Everything was rather effortless. When I went to collect the funds for my van, the staff at Palmer was very polite and professional. I would not hesitate to contact them again for the removal of a vehicle or any other item they can recycle.

I had started collecting scrape metal on my routes the past few months.

I researched throughout the city and when I saw that it was family owned and all the positive reviews(and a few laughable low star reviews) I was certain this was where I wanted to go.

It was my first time going to a recycling yard with so many different materials.
I met Lorne in the office and he was extremely friendly and he explained how the whole process would work. It was a really simple process.

The workers that helped me off load were very helpful and informative. I learned a few helpful sorting tips from them too! I didn't happen to get thier names but christmas is coming hopefully they will get a nice christmas bonus for being top tier ?

Basically my long winded review in a nut shell is I was very happy with the service I received and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an informative and helpful experience. I felt taken care of.
