A very poor company, the system is chaotic. My account was closed half a year ago, and all the bills were paid. More than a month later, it was still told that there was an unpaid bill. In fact, I have paid. I paid on their official website. There was a credit record and a confirmation email. I informed them again that I had paid and got their confirmation. More than a month later, I still received the same unpaid bill. I called them again to confirm. They told me the wrong name. I was very depressed. This is the third time I called to confirm. The previous two times they told me that I didn't owe money, and the account was almost closed. They helped me solve it again. I hope I don't receive the bill again. I hope those who see the comments must keep your payment records.

Less than satisfactory customer service. During postal strike, their recording emphasizes how it is MY responsibility to ensure that bills are paid in a timely manner and to set up online billing. How about it being YOUR responsibility to answer the phone or return emails offering assistance setting this up? "To get a call back when an agent is available, please press '1'".... Well that was days ago... I suppose an agent hasn't come available in several days? How about an email response? Please don't think of charging people 'late fees' when you're not available to assist.

Every time I call, no matter the time of day, it leaves me on hold until it forces me to choose a callback option or hang up. I did not get my first bill before the postal strike, so therefore I do not know my account number, so therefore I cannot pay my bill :/ and now I will most likely have a late fee for missed payment that is not my fault. 🙁

Edit: I did get a callback from them today, but this is after 5 days of asking for a callback, so I'm leaving it as 1 star. But I did get my account number from them so I'm happy.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. They NEVER answer the phone, they put you on hold to speak with an agent for 10 minutes and then you get an automated message to call later and then it automatically hangs up. My bill is always way over, and they show charges that have “not been paid” when you have bank statements that show otherwise. With all of these awful reviews, you’d think they would reassess their service. Very poor experience.

This place is waste. Not answering any calls or responding to emails but saying customers are responsible for timely payment and subject to additional penalty. How can one make payment when meter number, account number and amounts are unknown for a customer who has never received a paper/online bill for the first time ? The whole team including the management should be fired for negligence. Who is their Auditor? Clearly, they need to review their internal practices and policies to fix this mess.

Would give ZERO STARS . Impossible to reach the agent by phone after hours of attempts. They have no available argent for days during the postal strike when they tell you it is our responsibility to pay bills with no bills being delivered. Totally agree with the previous review " How about it being YOUR responsibility to answer the phone or return emails offering assistance setting this up? If I could give zero stars I would. BEYOND ANNOYED! Awful company. Awful customer service. I’m moving and took ownership of my home beginning of the week only to go and find the power had been turned off within hours of getting the keys! Thank goodness I was able to get in touch with after hours otherwise my house would still have no power and possible pipes frozen. Been trying for days to get a hold of someone to make sure my account is in good standing as it was their stupid mistake. This company needs a serious wake up call because clearly they don’t give a shit about you or your family

I'm encouraging everyone here to call the Ontario board of energy, BBB and our MP. This is shameful for what they are doing and please call them out on their public social pages (Twitter, Facebook and any other public site). It's time they are exposed. My electricity bills have drastically increased for no reason and I can't get a hold of anyone either. And its not like I can switch providers since I live in an apartment building.

Go up
