I had a great experience with OK Solar. Met them at a trade show while my home was being completed and they dropped by the home site a few days later to determine if it was being wired for future solar and it wasn’t. On spec they quickly ran some wiring from my electrical box to the attic so that the house was ready for solar installation after completion. Once the roof was ready they arrived on the prearranged date and completed the installation in one day.
They facilitated the connection with BC Hydro for the rebate and came back at a later date once I had wifi to install the monitor and get me set up with the monitoring app.
They were on-time and on-budget and great to work with.

I heard about OK Solar from friends at work that had used them. I did get quotes from other companies for peace of mind and OK Solar came in as the least expensive option.

Patrick was great through the whole process, answering any questions I had (and I had a lot haha!) He was always happy to take my call and helped me through the grant process too.

I just had the crew in here for three days and they were excellent! Jacob, Riley, Mike and Adam the electrician were all very hard working professionals. They also were happy to answer any questions I had while they were here.

Woke up this morning, checked my app that the guys helped me set up yesterday and see the panels are already producing electricity!

Two summers ago, OK Solar installed solar panels on our roof, and their exceptional workmanship, timely completion, and accurate cost estimate left a lasting impression. The system performed flawlessly until yesterday when I noticed half the panel bank wasn’t generating power. I emailed the owner last night, and to my surprise, I received a prompt response with clear instructions to check for a tripped breaker.

After confirming the breakers were fine, I was amazed when their technician Jacob arrived at my door this morning. They quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue—replacing several faulty Wago wire connectors—at no cost, thanks to the 5-year warranty.

I’ve been interested in solar for a while but it never made sense from a financial POV… until the Greener Homes loan/grant came up, making it cheaper annually to pay off the interest free loan and the reduced power bill than it was to pay my original power bill. OK Solar was one of the 4 quotes I received and not only were they the best price, they were extremely helpful with whatever questions I had throughout the quoting and initial process. When it came to installation, the crew was great - very professional and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. Just got my first couple days of credit on the account (took BC Hydro about a month to get things figured on their end), excited for next spring/summer when it really starts banking. Pat came out to actually look at my place and made great recommendations and help with info regarding the government rebate.
