We are very happy that we went with Oceanvolt for our 27 panel installation this August. Marcus and Jordan were very helpful and patient in working with us to plan the optimum layout of panels and they were able to connect us to an excellent roofing company so we were able to move ahead this year.
They took care of dealing with BC Hydro to arrange the net metering and provided support during the early period of production. We are also glad we chose Enphase for the heart of the system as it is fascinating to check their app to track production in real time.

We look forward to peak production season in the coming summer when we are providing a superabundance of electrons for our neighbours’ needs as well as our own. Better than dropping off surplus zucchini at their doorstep!

We were looking to get solar panels for our home to try and get some energy independence – we are thinking of going to EV too and felt like this was a way to help offset some of the cost of that. Our roofing company (we recently put on a new roof) put us in touch with Ocean Volt. Marcus and Jordan own and run the company and they immediately came around to assess the home and our requirements. They provided us with lots of choice re: set up and guided us through the options without us ever once feeling steered in a particular direction. They helped us to navigate Canada Greener Homes in order for us to get the applicable grants too. When the time came to install the panels Jordan and Marcus were efficient, clean and quick. Our panels are in and we are now making clean energy and charging our EV (which Jordan and Marcus will help you with too). Our system is set up so that we can upgrade to batteries in case of power outages too. We are sooo happy with this system and would recommend Ocean Volt to any one who is considering going to solar. OceanVolt did an amazing job on our 15.75kWh system with Powerwall backup. The solar panels were all black, so no ugly silver trim, looks amazing. They helped us through the entire process from start to finish including the BCHydro Grid-tie application, $5000 grant application and the Federal Government financing etc. They had the best price out of the 4 companies we obtained quotes from, and did an absolutely amazing job. I highly recommend using OceanVolt, these guys are 10/10.

Right from the very beginning Marcus and Jordan were superior communicators. They were well informed, answered all our questions, and were clear about the limitations and benefits of the choices. They took their time in making sure we understood all aspects of the job. We installed solar panels and upgraded the electrical to our house. The job was exceptionally well done, with little fuss and muss, just steady work with no drama or surprises. Instead they offered integrity and honesty, never ducking the hard questions, always answering our text, email, or phone call promptly. Their time management skills were excellent, and given the hot weather also very safe. Gail particularly appreciated their administration skills dealing with BC Hydro, the Greener Homes Grant application referral to the testing company, and their billing system.
