I’m constantly let down by my visits here. The staff are consistently unfriendly and seem completely uninterested in providing any customer service. They barely acknowledge anyone, which makes the whole experience feel uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the place is disorganized and unclean. It feels like no one is taking care of the space—cluttered areas and a general sense of neglect. Overall, it’s always a disappointing experience, and I won't be coming back. I really hope they take the time to improve both the cleanliness and the attitude of the staff. With a little care and attention, this could actually be a nice place.

Brought in only 12 bottles and got a loonie back. Had to ask the cashier for the missing $0.20 which he gave to me. I can’t believe they would try to short me 2 bottles when I only brought in 12 (because I can definitely keep track of 12 bottles). The person behind me saw what happened and smirked and judging by the reviews, it seems like this is a common occurrence at this location. It’s only $0.20 but it’s the principle that matters.

Take your business elsewhere, unless you are just looking to recycle some items. Returnables, however, do not waste your time. You have been warned. Elsewhere! You heard?

The Asian cashier got pissed because I didn't organize the cans and bottles to his liking. You have to be kidding me if you think the general public knows how to sort cans perfectly. THAT'S YOUR JOB, WHY ARE YOU GETTING PAID The worse part is he was standing at the cash doing nothing and watching me sort my cans. Is this South Korea or Canada? HIRE CANADIAN SO MANY TEENS CANT FIND A JOB.

To those who complain here about their closing the store some minutes earlier than the actual closing time- Don't Xucking show up with a ton of bags 15 or 10 minutes before the closing time. They stop getting paid after 5pm. In other word, they technically can refuse the service after 5pm and kick you off without letting you sort all of your containers. I really don't understand how they couldn't find it ridiculous that they overstay without paying the workers for the overtime. You guys don't have the parents who would teach you that it's against the common sense to do that?

I am appalled at the behaviour of the manager, who routinely closes and locks the doors well before the advertised closing time. And if I happen to be there close enough to closing time, he “helps” count out things and the amount of payout I receive always seems much less than when I arrive with things pre-counted, as if he’s punishing me by taking some of the bottles for himself. He is rude to customers and tries to refuse service every time it’s even remotely close to closing time. Then he rants and belittles latecomers. I cannot believe he is still allowed to work there, let alone be given the responsibility of manager. Real customer service means not trying to scare off people just because you want to go home early. If it’s so hard to let someone in close to closing, change your hours and be prepared to stay. Many folks who return bottles are already suffering from lower socioeconomic status. They don’t need to be treated as if they’re not worthy of decent customer service.

DO NOT RETURN HERE!!! I cannot stress this enough. They short you on your return EVERY TIME! Then their game is to start yelling at you so you get uncomfortable and leave. We knew exactly what we had, when we received our receipt we tried to explain how many flats we had, they started to yell, we explained calmly they were wrong, again they yell. We left because they are so into their scam they will not listen to reality.

DO NOT RETURN HERE!!!!!
