It was a wet cold and miserable today and my truck and phone died right in the middle of the transfer shed next to the pile toward closing time. I'd like to thank Penny and the friendly and kind staff at the Waste Centre for helping resolve the problem, offer shelter and get me going again from this stressful situation!

My experience at the North Shore Recycling and waste centre was fantastic. I was greeted by a lot of friendly faces and helpful people like Josh and other people that were very helpful providing shovels and brooms for me to finish my job in an efficient way.

I come here at least weekly for the unmistakably unique experience of dump bird watching. There are sea gulls and pigeons and the occasional eagle. Sometimes I bring my whole family to take in the sites and smells. I’m never disappointed. If you are looking for an inexpensive date idea this is it. ?

Had a chill experience here, people seemed nice. I dropped off a mattress took about 10 mins to do the whole drop off. I was surprised no one offered me a hand to take the mattress off my car when there were 2 men standing right beside me not really working. I posted a pic of costs below.

Jonathan is the best! We were terrified our cat climbed into our sofa when we took it to the transfer station. He took customer service to a whole new level. We are indebted to him for his kindness in a very scary situation.

Such a cool place. They have whips and birds of prey that help chase the seagulls away! Lol So cool! The staff are always so friendly.

This is the place to get rid of your bulk trash and green waste. Depending on the time of day, and how much rubbish is here, it can get busy. Generally fast moving.
