Brian was great and sold me a Walrus stainless steel bucket for scrap value; like a $375 item, I just had to solder two cracks 4-5" from the brim, it didn't leak anyway. Metal recycling is poorly understood in this part of the world.

Pretty sure they gave me silver plated/copper pricing (yellow copper) instead of sterling silver/silver price for an item I brought in. All test they provided still showed it was non magnetic and didn't have any other base layers after being scrapped. This was Thursday January 30th/2025.

My fault for not knowing all the symbols on the back of the large spoon but also felt really rushed and probably got the pittance of value for the material.

My one Prior interactions at this recycler seemed to be giving the best value for recycling everyday items, but this one item seemed like they gave me a very low and probably excessively low value because they didn't even care to take a look at the stamps of the material.

Definitely worth the visit!
Owners Ryan, Sheri, and their staff were very freindly and helpful with unloading my car of all the scrap metal I brought in.
They quickly sorted it by type, weighed it and calculated my payment.
Another plus - they also accept and pay for lead-acid batteries!
I definitely recommend these guys and will be going back to them again!

This family run business is the best place to take your scrap metal. They helped me get the best prices. Highly recommend North Shore Metal Recycling. They treated me with respect even though I only been there once. They are really friendly and will be the only place I will sell to.
