It's majorly a joke!!! Myself and the hubby went today to check it out and to get rid of some empties and the smell was disgusting never mind not enough trays to go around. Ripoff to the max yet we had two guys who were nice but really had no idea what they were doing. No receipt which is mandatory and they're mistake was that we've both worked at recycling depots...myself 3 years, Dave 6 years....can't wait till tomorrow when I confront them on their mistakes...heeeheee

I’d give zero if I could. Rude owners. Cheap. Dirty. They’ll try and rip you off and steal right in front of you. I had counted out all my cans and had them neatly ready when the owner took them but when she counted them she was way off- by 16 cans! But when I asked her to pls recount and tried to point out she may have accidentally miscounted she, very rudely, said “No I didn’t. You did”. And when I tried to say I hadn’t she started yelling at me! It was crazy. And by then she’d thrown my cans in with everyone else’s cans. She also claimed my bottles were not bought here and thus I hadn’t paid a deposit. My drinks are all bought from Safeway, Save-On or Superstore in B.C.Canada. I’ve heard many people have had the same experiences there. They are scammers. I’d recommend going to either Queensbourgh or Coquitlam bottle return. Both those places are clean and have polite, friendly staff and you don’t have to worry about being ripped off.

Walked from New Westminster Skytrain Station to the bottle depot it eas 1.9 miles away. I walked by foot, and I made it a quest to get there. When I got there it was small place.

All you do is take your tray and put the bottle on them at a table to sort them out to get your money.

I went there because I had some bottles from Surrey to deposit my bottles and cans and play some pinball at the Riverside Market with the change that I got from the cans that I collected.

Small place and fast way to get some cash on the road or for fun.

I would give this a 0 star if it was possible, it wouldn't take any bottles that we has even though we saw the exact same bottles being recycled. Trust me the service there is horrible. They dont talk well and complain, often super lazy. It is the woesy experience ever. It is like hell.

Do not bring your bottle deposits here!

She will short change you and count really fast and throw all the bottles in a bag very quickly so you cannot dispute and recount. She also said some of our aluminum coconut water cans did not have a deposit. Before you knew it, she threw it all into another bag before I could ask to keep it to bring elsewhere. When I went home, I checked my Costco reciept where I bought the cans from, and of course I paid deposit..

Bring your bottle deposits to other depots near by in Burnaby. Do not come here.
