It is by far, the worst experience I ever had in a shop in my whole life.

I was initially sent there by a home depot employee from the electrical department.
I was looking for high amperage cable, and he told me that I would find it at Nedco.

When I went there, the shop was empty, and there was 2 employees at the counter.
I asked a few questions, and one employee (skinny white guy, very rude) told me that the shop was only dealing with commercial accounts so no need to even talk to me. Like their clients are spending millions and he doesn't care about my few thousand dollars request and that I should leave the shop now and not waste his time because millions were lining up (in the empty shop).

It was so bad that his colleague (asian dude) came to me and tried to make me feel better.
I owe a company, so no problem creating a commercial account, and came there several times already and you can purchase goods from them if you spend more than 1000 bucks (it was in their policy at that time).

The other guy started shouting at me to get out his shop, like I was a dog, he was on the verge of being impolite. My parents were there visiting, and were with me on that day. I so wish I can travel back in time to punch the guy in the face.

Well, I left, and made sure I never spent a dime at their shop, while making sure that my own company, the companies I work for, and hire to do renovations never purchase a single item in this shop.

Gescan is close by, and I always go there, never had such issue.

If you're not a professional, don't go in here, no matter who sends you there.

They deal with commercial contractors, and don't have the time or inclination to deal with you, your questions, or any small orders.

Whatever you need, first try Home Depot (blocks away), then Lowes/Rona (10 minutes away) - they are both customer-friendly. There is also a Gescan a block or two away - again, they mostly deal with professionals and can be serious, but they will deal with walk-ins are not rude.

Nedco...they should either say "No Public" or do some customer service training.

I did a walk in, small counter sale and the person was nice to me. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about...

No waiting. Well equipped and rarely busy, this location is really helpful when Gescan (nearby) is buried in customers.

If you are not an electrician, don't waist your time. They won't help you or sell you anything. Go to Gescan across the street.
