There is a newer employee that works at the front entrance who has yet to short change me. For that reason, I go inside more often, rather than going to the drive-up windows. I added another star to their rating since I haven't had an issue with being short changed since my last review.
That being said, it would be really nice if they had 2 line-ups and 2 registers available at the front counter. I waited over an hour in line today because people were bringing in multiple carts full of cans.

I actually came in here to research and see if anyone else has been having the same issue as I have, and I've already run into multiple other reviews stating the same: There is a repeated trend of being short-changed at this location. I count all my bottles when I go in there, every time. I'm very organized with my recycling and separate everything into either $5 bags or $10 bags.
On at least 2/3 of the occasions that I go there, I am short-changed anywhere from $3-$15, depending how much I am bringing in. I'm talking roughly 15 or so trips at this point where I'm certain I was not given the right amount of money for the amount of cans and bottles I have brought in.

Always get shorted at this place. Not as bad as today though. Some greasy dude ripped me off for around $40. I had at least $120 in returns. Didn't even get $80. He ripped every person off in front of me also. Make sure you count your bottles before hand. Only time I ever got the right amount I counted them before. If it's close it's not so bad, but 1/3 not counted is a bit greedy.

I was there two days in a row we had so many cans and bottles to recycle. Showed up the Tuesday after the long weekend and the next day at around 8:20. They open at 8:30. We were parked by the loading dock to the business next door. By 9 it was our turn. Both days the ladies were speedy and friendly. The first day the young lady, who only recently started there, explained any time she had to walk away. She made quick small talk and was very nice. The second day we had an older lady who was hyper focused and had less small talk, but was friendly as well. The other workers smiled and made small talk as they busily kept things moving along.

Overall, a great experience. Thanks!

I collect for an institution and drop off bottles as a favour. The people at the window were horrifically rude to me because there was some odd trash in my bags of bottles. They were NOT accommodating nor kind about it, even tho we were apologetic and explained that I just collect the bottles as a favour. Will definitely be taking my bottles elsewhere & recommending that everyone else does the same. Terrible customer service.

I have headed bottle drives for several fundraising groups and always had great success with Nechako Bottle Depot. Yesterday, April 29, 2022, I set up a new account for a group and it has never been easier. I spoke with John on the phone earlier that day who told me to come in and speak to Seth. Seth took my information at the end of the day Friday and when I showed up Saturday morning an hour after they opened I was greeted with friendly service and the account was already set up and ready to roll. I was in and out with a bulk drop-off in less than 10 minutes. An exceptional experience for me so after years of happy dealing I am writing this review.

It's kind of ridiculous that there is only ONE counting table for returns. Half the counter still has social distancing dividers. This place will leave you standing in line for an hour if you're not the first in line. Unimpressed

First time here. Went in the late morning. So far it's clean, no line up and staff was helpful and informative. Appreciate it. Thanks
