i think this is a great place to bring unwanted refuse. very organized and the scale staff are professional and courteous.

also, compared to other gravel mart local retailers i find the selection here to be adequate and high quality materials. quick loading and noticeably repeatable load sizes.

i have had bad experiences with inexperienced operators either overloading trailers or shorting the requested load and i appreciate the attention to this matter. the stuff is expensive and customers deserve what they pay for.

I own a local landscape company and I come in very often for dumping yard waste, household waste, and getting materials. I have to say, I am always very pleased with the friendly and joyful staff who take their time to make sure they have the correct information and even double check before loading me up. If you have to wait for something, it’s not usually very long at all. They have tons of space to move around and I don’t get stuck in awkward places with my trailer. It’s well worth the drive “out of the way” (not even) to get there instead of some of the small and tight lots in town. I have personally dealt with Nikki, Kenzie, Heather, and Kevin (sorry if I messed anyone’s name up) and they have all done a great job and have great attitudes! To all the others I don’t know the name of, thank you too!

Interesting experience yesterday. There were 2 people in the weigh scale, a younger lady and an older one. The older lady was operating the scale and was having trouble with "something", (possible training issue?) having to take her time to address whatever the issue was with the weigh system. No problem, I was in no rush. After confirming weight and whatnot, I proceeded to dump my basic household, return to the scale and got to deal with another system malfunction. Yet again, no rush, no worries. Then, I got a bill for $30 for a 140kg dump, which was nowhere near accurate. AT MOST I've only ever paid $15 for a smallish trailer load. Shouldn't be a problem since the initial scaling was a bit messed up and kinda obviously problematic, right? NOPE!!! They argued everything was accurate. They "compromised" at $19, lucky me. So I won't be using their services for ANYTHING, nor will I recommend them to my multitude of clients.

A little advice, when you say you close at 4pm don't close your gate at 3:45pm. So many people turning around at the gate, we can see you all inside. Pathetic!

Just returned from dumping a small amount of household trash and had to pay over $26. Don’t remember rates being so high. Receipt states 120 kg but was no where near that with 4 small bins and 1 garbage bag. Not even close to that amount. Shame

I go here once a week (live in a bachelor suite with no where to store garbage) and they're super nice everytime. Very organized, can get it all done in a few minutes. No matter how much I bring I seem to never hit minimum weight too so this is a great business for someone in my position. Thank you so much

On the website it claims they charge $30 for disposal of a couch/mattress. What they don’t tell you is they charge for the weight of the item on top of that, nearly doubling the charge. No wonder you see this stuff dumped on the side of the road.

I checked in at the front desk and was told to go down to the yard and wood waste. Once I was down in the area, the operator of the front end loader started waving his arms and silently screaming at me from inside the cab. When I asked him if he needed me to move he didn’t say anything, eventually another employee came over, spoke rudely with me, and did not give me directions on where they would like me, aside from a vague point and then Turning away. There was no signage up for me to not enter the area, And at no point did I get close to or approach the heavy equipment. I would avoid this unorganized yard of angry people and take your business to DBL, I believe they are less expensive there anyways
