I would give no stars if I could "doctor google" needs to go, my husband went into the hospital cause we don't have a dentist in town right now and he insisted that he go to a dentist in thunderbay when he was already told we're going to one in marathon pretty much gave us grief for wanting help when my husbands face is swollen to the point even the nurse was upset with how "doctor google" was reacting and than he never sent his prescription to the pharmacy (feels like he did it on purpose) not the first time I've dealt or heard about him

We're lucky to have a hospital in such a small community. Staff friendly, short waits for blood service, x-ray, physio(compared to long waits for same services in Barrie etc) Luckily we Rarely used emergency. In last couple of years the Management has changed, & new male doctor is definitely lacking in empathy & interest in helping patients.

I would like to thank the doctor for NOT giving my husband any pain medication for his broken hip. You have led him to believe that he is worthless and you also knew that he is MY 24/7 caregiver and that I have PTSD but you did nothing but add more stress which better not cause another stroke. Please remove all pain medication from the hospital as nobody needs them.

The emerge room needs a better system. If your u there for anything jot life threatening the doctor doesn't even come to the hospital to see you. They don't have a doctor in the emergency room so the nurse assess the Katie the then calls the doctor to tell him what you are there for and then gets orders from him on what to do and if you need an RX he just faxes it to the pharmacy from home BUT if you are for LIFE THREATENING conditions then the doctor does come in when they call him. The doctor can even order x-rays from home and see them on his home computer and still doesn't come in if you have a broken bone he just gets the nurse to cast it and then if they decide to give you pain med he faxes the RX into the pharmacy. NOT A GOOD SYSTEM.. The hospital staff though are great. It is not the staffs fault that the emerge system is the way it is.

I would give it no stars if I could because what kind of hospital sends people home without even looking at the person. Just here a card for walk in on Monday we don't look at thing your employer sent you there for just call walk in Monday.

Manitouwadge health team has been such a saving grace for myself & family. I truly am so greatful and cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for me. I've had to visit the emerge way more then anyone should need to in a single year. Im always treated with respect and kindness.

I'd give 0 if possible. Screwed up sending a requisition for specialist consultation. Didn't send the urgent request for 14 days after being told to send the requisition by the emergency doctor. Now I'm in the hospital waiting for a surgery I should have had weeks ago. Absolute clowns.
