I see Bob has a smear campaign going against Lance. My personal knowledge does not align with the negative comments. Lance is not technically a friend, but an acquaintance I've known long enough and well enough to say even when we were kids, he has always carried himself with integrity. He has always had a good reputation, and suggesting he would behave unethically and/or lie, does not describe this person accurately at all.

Personal and professional harassment has consequences that you can be held liable for. Encouraging people that have never had any interaction with an entity to leave false reviews is obvious and provable. Careful Bob.

I’m aware of an organized campaign to try to diminish this small company’s standing. The key thing is to ask whether those complaining have got any scientific training or credentials from recognized institutions. In every case I’ve looked at, the answer is no, they do not.

Unfortunately, because they do work in monitoring aquaculture and sea lice on wild salmon, various activists have unfairly targeted them, claiming they are unprofessional because their results (often collected under First Nations Guardian supervision) don't fit various activist narratives about salmon aquaculture.
