This is a GARBAGE place to do business with. As a manager, I respect people’s concerns when they bring an issue to my attention whether I feel the issue is important or not. This doesn’t seem to be the case with Loraas. Prior to this incident, the bins for my store were lined up so there would be enough room to bring a pallet jack around the building. For some reason they moved the Loraas bins side by side, blocking the sidewalk we use to receive shipments. The other side of the building is the same thing and the owners of that business park in the drive way. I called Loraas to see if they could come move the bins back (we’re receiving a shipment this week) and she immediately hung up on me when I voiced my concerns. I called again and got told my business wasn’t in their system which is stupid because I’ve seen them come pick up. I’ve now had to contact higher up to handle this situation. Rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I don’t recommend them.

Called lorras Very professional service prompt delivery of the empty bin picked it up the day we were finished with it and very pleasant to deal with over the phone.

I emailed for a price on a couple of bins, weeks went by with no return email. I finally called and rented 2 bins. 1 bin was the correct size, the second was smaller than what I had ordered. I called and left a message as it was after hours, phone call was never returned. I called and left another message, that call was never returned either. When I finally spoke with someone during business hours they made it sound like it was a huge inconvenience I was bringing this up. Apparently they were out of the size I ordered and didn’t bother to say anything. Rather than being logical and bring a larger bin, they brought a smaller one. I then had to waste a bunch of time making dump runs. When I brought this concern up I was told over and over that the smaller bin was the same price as the larger bin. Price is irrelevant, it’s the size that was the issue. I was told I’d get a call back when they figured out what was going on with this. I also had a bin full of concrete that was overweight and they charged me an extra $250 (a whole new bin is only $175). The sales rep said she told me that the bin could only be half full. After arguing this and having them go back and listen to phone recordings they realized they had not told me this so the $250 was refunded. The $250 was also a random charge on my card one day. No one phoned to give me a heads up or anything. They kept my card info from the initial booking when I paid the deposit. So be aware they will charge your card without the cardholders authorization. This was months ago, I still haven’t received a call back about the bin size issue or an invoice to see exactly what I paid for. Customer service is non existent.

You might tell your drivers if the light is red that means they should stop. This morning at 7 a.m. at park street and Dewedney Ave the light turned red and the truck just went flying through the red light. Maybe they should learn how to drive.I guess there is enough accidents already.

The bin showed up late, placed in the wrong place, no chains/lock on it, can't do pickups on the weekend, over-promised on when pickup of the bin eventually would be, essentially wasting my weekend and delaying my project by weeks.

My expectations were low, and Loraas failed to meet them in nearly every way imaginable.

Our resort village has been using Loraas for many years. They have always been extremely accommodating to our needs. Whenever we required additional bins for our spring and fall clean-up projects, they were affordable and promptly delivered.
Any concerns or questions we have ever had regarding our invoices have always been handled in an extremely professional manner and resolved very fairly.
We couldn’t ask for a better waste disposal company to do business with.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Loraas, both as a rural resident and as the Town of Grand Coulee. My rep., Dale K, is more than helpful and always goes above and beyond. They are flexible, friendly, responsive and hard working. What more can you ask for in any service provider!
