I delivered a load with a tractor trailer to this location. It’s a small place to you all truckers need to be attentive.

I was lucky to show up first. It got busy after I was backed into the door. A truck had to wait on the street facing the entrance.

Staff are professional and respectful. Offloading was done in a timely manner. No complains.

Always a pleasure to take material to London Salvage. We take different material and they have always been very helpful and fair on value. Its convenient and usually quick service. Hours of operation are helpful and we are happy the material is not ending up in land fills. Would like to thank the yard staff and cashier staff as they have always been great assistance.

I brought in a chain link fence, this guy up stairs says its dirty and I would need to pay them 25 dollars. I said to him that's not fare why don't you take the fence for free instead of charging me $25 dollars. He laughed in a rude disrespectful way and said no !! So I told him I will put my experience on google review for being rude, this is when he really started to get mad raising his voice in the most uncomfortable way.. he told me to go back out to the yard and grab the fence and take it somewhere else.. I said ok know problem.. as I was walking down the stairs he started walking behind me yelling and calling me names.. he takes his phone camera out and starts taking my pictures.. as he started yelling more and swearing. I then rolled up my windows as he was pounding on my window with his hand.. I said forget this I'm leaving, this guy is looking like he wants to get violent with me.. as I started to drive away he kicked the side of my car leaving a small dent. I was going to report him to the police but decided the car is old and its just a small dent that can easily be pushed out and that this review will serve better. I think he was surprised that I was going to actually take the fence back and he would lose money so he got rude and angry.
I'm a very calm person and can't believe this guy is even working there.
There are better places to go to, and I hope no one ever has to go through this again.

I just wanted to update my review and add that they replied to my review with complete lies. Be careful who you deal with.

Called ahead of time to specifically ask how much it would cost to drop of a car load of cardboard, was told 4 cents a pound. It wasn't till after I had unloaded and had to pay that I was told of the $25 minimum fee. The staff otherwise was helpful and polite, but that's just bad business practice.

We would never go again to this place.
Every time we felt that they did not pay us right but you have no argument because they are always right.
Today we did one load to London Salvage and one load to Rail City Recycling which happened to be only 40 lbs less then the first load but we got 61 $ more for same scrap metal.
It starts with going on the scale, you can see your weight in and out in Rail City Recycling and you receive a statement from the cash register.
