Me and my roommate went there few times and Patrick he full deaf. He was hope make some money to take half part of motor from car not pick it up. So he not very happy with them. No money metal scrap

Let’s you throw stuff for free. They pay if you have more than 500 lb of metal but for copper is by pound. Good place to throw Metal.

This business is by far THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM IN KELOWNA!! PERSONALLY it's been the best from the Kootenay to the coast!! From the first interaction. On the scale to the young men running equipment( always pleasant and jump in to help even when it's not necessary. And even on the way out the ladies in the office are super friendly and take time to help people know what is good metal , how to prepare it for more money etc etc. Even if I'm pissy I look forward to interacting with the Knox metal team! If you read this Knox team thank you. You all set the bar for any business anywhere in B.C. for customer service. If their was an award you have my vote. I emailed with them about brining in tungsten they told me to bring in a few pieces and they'd find out a price, drove from the kootenays to bring some in and they basically just said yeah we don't know can't give you a price wasted my time

The people here are always very friendly and helpful. We had almost 3000 lbs of scrap metal in the Funk n Junk truck and they let us back up to the magnet crane, which made unloading so much easier for us! They pay the best price on all metals, batteries, etc and also have a great stock of metals to buy for building projects. We deal with them exclusively and give them our highest recommendation!

This was a most unpleasant experience. When I arrived, the woman in the office asked if it was 500 pounds. Not having a scale I said I didn't know. I did know it was at least 300 to 400 lbs but hadn't weighed it while loading. She said she would recycle it. Without telling me, that meant I was donating it to her. After unloading, I was told to have a nice day. When I questioned why I wasn't getting paid for my metal, I was then told they only accept minimums of 500 lbs. I objected, so she gave me a receipt and $15 with no idea of how much it actually weighed. I would recommend ABC Recycling and would advise to stay clear of this place.

Fast friendly group of people,helped unload and were in great mood.
Brought in 1000 pound of cable with copper,aluminum and metal scrap,all purchased and pay higher for wire because the copper in it.
