My family and I have had the bin for more than 2 weeks now. I've emailed and 2 of my family members have called them to ask for the bin pick up. The agreed time for our bin was 2 weeks. My family has called 3-4 times now asking for the bin to be picked up only to have them say "we'll come ___" but they never show up. I understand that there could be more happening within the company whether it's a lack of workers to do the pick up, or scheduling is an issue. Regardless, having to call more than twice and emailing is a hassle. It's also really disappointing when they say they'll come but never do. It's causing an inconvenience not only for my family but my neighbor as well.

-- UPDATE: SEPT. 11.2024 they finally took the bin today after how long? They also lied by saying their driver came by Multiple times? lol fat lie. If your bin is considered overloaded they definitely won't take it. But obviously they wont communicate that until you pester them about em not taking the bin. They'll charge you a "travel fee" of 100+ if they really don't like you lol. Please explain what the travel fee is? we are within your area of service. Worst company ever.

Avoid This Company at All Costs

I cannot express how disappointing and frustrating our experience was with Junk Hero. We hired them to provide a junk container for pick-up as part of the process of selling my father-in-law’s home. The container was supposed to be picked up the same week it was dropped off, but instead, it sat on the property for over three weeks, despite repeated calls and follow-ups.

They frequently made false claims that they had attempted to pick up the container when they clearly had not. Many of our calls were met with someone answering and hanging up, leaving us feeling completely ignored. Their lack of professionalism and care was horrible.

This delay nearly jeopardized the closing of the sale, as the container was only picked up today—on the day of the closing, after weeks of unnecessary stress. It was clear throughout the ordeal that they simply did not care about the impact of their inaction.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs—especially if you have any time-sensitive needs. This was by far one of the worst service experiences we’ve ever had.

I never write reviews, you can check my post history, however I felt compelled to share my extremely infuriating experience dealing with this company. The service they provide is adequate, the prices are reasonable. Like multiple Other reviews have stated, the issue arises when you need to have the bin picked up.

I ordered a bin for July 13 2024 and it was promptly delivered. I contacted the head office Sunday July 14 2024 to have the bin picked up and was advised that the earliest a pick up could occur would be Wednesday July 17 2024. On Wednesday I called as the bin had not been picked up, and when I inquired with the customer service rep they responded “ Did you schedule a pick up?” When I replied that I had done so on Sunday July 14 they then Advised that due to the severe storm and flooding the previous day, pick ups had been delayed. I understood that but left the conversation with the impression that they felt they had tricked me. Pick up occurred 7 days later on July 24 at 7:45 pm, and that’s after they called me at 5:30 and told me they were on their way. I had to delay my renovation project almost TWO WEEKS as I had no space on my driveway for new materials to be delivered.

To top it all off they damaged my new interlocking driveway during delivery and during pick up when I specifically asked them to take extra precaution. The customer service rep, told me that the drivers carry wood planks to put under the bin to protect the driveway, in reality they didn’t come prepared. I understand with this type of work accidents happen, but the whole experience left me feeling like someone had taken advantage of me, especially being charged full price after they damaged the interlocking stones, and after multiple email and text conversations that went unanswered.

I have used Junk Hero twice to rent a small bin for general waste cleanup. Had no issues the first time.

The second time, I scheduled a bin rental for the 10/29/24. I called for a pickup the next day and was told it was put in the driver queue. I was invoiced on the 31st.

As of writing this review the bin has not been picked up. I have made several calls, most of which have gone to voicemail. My driveway has been blocked since.

If I could rate Junk Hero 0/10 I would. Such a disaster of a company. This is an honest review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They refuse to pick up my bin and I do not know what to do at this point.

Neville Mathew sold me a novice customer a 14 yard bin not for topsoil.That I specifically asked for in hopes that it was not fully filled. Plus they came a day late to pick it up. Now they want me too remove the dirt plus pay overweight and additional charges for being overweight. So now it’s a legal matter. Definitely not my Hero.

My brother arranged for this company’s bin service for our parents’ house. It was delivered last month and they were told they would come in 2 weeks for pick-up, my mother was even given an exact date. The date came and went and no one picked up the bin. My mom called and they told her they were “in the queue” for pick up but did not give a timeframe. It is now past two weeks since that last interaction and the bin is still sitting on my parents’ driveway.

I myself have called the phone number listed on their bin SEVERAL times and EACH time NO ONE has picked up after a 15 minute hold. I have left messages and no one has reached out to me.

My parents are seniors and it is difficult for them to get around their driveway based on where it is situated.

Really disappointing service and frustrating experience. We are still waiting for it to be picked up and for anyone to reach back out.
