1. If you want to pay way too much for used parts, JBJ Salvage is
the place to go
2. They use your kindness against you
3. If the part is bad they do not give you credit like all the other
auto wreckers in the area.

Here is a story to back up my points.

I had this buzzing noise in the dash area of my car. I take the dash apart and find out that the noise is coming from this very little fan hidden under the instrument cluster. I never seen such a thing in my life, and I am a retired auto mechanic.
I did a lot of research and find out that part is a cabin ambient temp. sensor for the automatic climate control.
So I drive to JBJ Salvage. They happen to have a car that is the same year, make, model I need, so I take the part out and go to pay for it. The lady at the cash does not know what the part is so she does know what to charge me. Being helpful person I tell her what the part is. She takes her phone searches the internet up and down and finds a new cabin ambient temp. sensor at Rock Auto for $164 and says she wants $80 for the part. Yes that is right she she wants $80 for tiny used little piece of plastic, that she did not know what to call a minute ago. And on top of it if I buy the part and it is bad they do not give credit, so you over pay spend $80 and then if the part is bad, customer is SOL.
But I must give her props for using the info. I provided her to use against me and screw me over. Very cunning I must admit. I bet you if I did not tell her what the part was she would not charge no more then $30.
So I said no thank you, and drive 40 minutes to Marshalls in Lethbridge, where I have totally different experience in a positive way. At Marshalls they take the take the part out for you.
They did not know what the name of the part was either,
I had to explain to them where it was located in the car and what it looked like. So after looking for the part in multiple cars because the part is only used in cars with automatic climate control they charge me $30. Marshalls unlike JBJ Salvage give you credit if the part is bad. Even better they let me install the part in the car to see if make a noise before I even pay for it.
The part did not make noise so I gladly paid them $30
Now that is what I call service.

Moral of the story.
For me: Do not be helpful, it my backfire on you and people will use it against you.

for JBJ Salvage
Do not try to stick it to the customer, it might backfire on you.
You used my research info against me. I would have paid up to $40 for the part but you wanted to stick it to me and wanted $80.
Now you are stock with a part that you likely will never sell because it is a scarce part that nobody is looking for.

for potential JBJ Salvage customers
In my opinion ,unless you want to be overcharged or be stock with bad part that you can not return for credit go somewhere also
