We suffered a power outage overnight and Hydro One was able to restore power early in the morning. The problem was that several outlets and switches would not work after, even when the breakers were reset. I called HPS early that morning and they were able to arrive at my home early in the afternoon. We feared a re-wiring project was the solution but the cause of the problem was quickly determined and resolved. I can’t thank HPS enough for helping us and recommend them for all your electrical needs. We have used them in the past with equal results and never hesitated to call them this time.

We had HPS do 2 large jobs on our home; a 200amp service and panel upgrade and the rough-in and finish of the basement electrical. Jeff was professional when providing quotes for the work and coordinated well with his team. Justin did the bulk of the basement wiring and his work was very clean. I provided some basic drawings of the layout and he had no problem turning it into a reality with a few suggested modifications. They were accommodating and quoted fairly for some extra items such as running a cable for a future car charger and replacing some of the older cloth cables.

They always showed up at the scheduled time and left the house as they found it. Inspections were straight-forward and without issue and material quality was good.

Jeff came to give us a quote for two outside outlets and a power drop for an in-ground pool installation. While he was here, we learned that our current panel was not up to par for the additional circuits, so we decided on a new panel. We also asked about a separate 20A kitchen circuit for the microwave and opted to have that done at the same time.

Jeff was able to come later that week, along with electricians Katy and Justin. The work was done very well within the planned time. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable.
