Clean and well-maintained. Glad to have a reliable recycling, compost, and transfer station. Always receive a free blue bag after dropping off a full one. How great is that? There’s a ‘free store’ which has been closed during the many months of Covid. I’m posting pics of the signage explaining what they will and won’t accept. Hope it helps in some small way. Thank you for running a good operation.

It isn't open often enough, and the days and times are inconvenient when we have other plans, meaning we often have to skip a week or two and hang on to our garbage and green waste. The green waste bins here have often been full, so we have had to take our green waste back home. That's not really acceptable now that the new sorting rules require separating green waste from household garbage. You separate it, and then you have to take it back home and hold on to your reeking, maggot-infested green waste. And you can't keep it anywhere outside because that would be irresponsible with the bears (who have previously broken open our animal-proof green waste bin). The result... my deep freezer is half full with green waste all the time.

I also dislike having to find other places to recycle glass, soft plastics, and beverage containers. I have to go to 4 different places to recycle everything! This is really not a good system.

The guys working there are nice and provide an easy service to drop off garbage. I do have two suggestions: 1) provide residents with 52 tokens (online or actual) per year. A number of times I have been away and my house-sitters create garbage and even though I missed by week, I cannot "add two bags" the following week, so I end up paying, which is stupid. So, make it fair--as a resident, I get 52 bags a year regardless of when or how I take them. 2) Take glass recycling. Period. We are trying to encourage people to recycle and not discourage it and make it super inconvenient.

As a resident of Lake Errock it's close and clean. The only mess I've ever seen is the mess of people who aren't able to read the time schedule and feel the need to dump their garbage outside the fence. I don't believe I've purchased a blue recycle bag since coming here as they give you one for every bag of recyclables you drop off. Always smiling when I've been there...

Always friendly and helpful. Cost for non-residents is two dollars per bag. Residents are allowed one bag of garbage per week, with extra bags costing two dollars each, as well as no limit on blue bag recyclables. They even give you two blue bags every time you visit.

Peter is argumentative, abbrasive, and tries to bully you with his over bearing aggressiveness!

He definitely could use some anger management courses, conflict resolution courses, behavior management courses and just a course on cognitive behavior therapy.

I have lived in this beautiful community for two years and have been screamed at weekly by Peter. He has zero edicate.

Week end hours of operation. Many people in this area are still employed. After working 5 days a week , you can't wait for the week end to do what you are unable to do during the work week. It is nice to get things underway early on the week end because week ends are so short. Why must we wait until 1:00 P.M, to get rid of our garbage before we venture out to do what we planned in the first place. PLEASE Have at least Saturday hours from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
