Fast, an easy go. There is no competing for baskets and plastic flats here. Super tidy at this location. The rep at the till was a delight. My first visit here, I'm coming back in the future.

* It's worth noting that I had 195 pieces and the payout was $16.59....
so yeah....when you do the math,
which should be $19.50
actually paid out .....not $19.50. LoL?

The cleanest and most well-organized bottle depot I have visited on Tuesday, Sept 10th., had a minor issue. Despite informing two employees of my Deafness and inability to read lips, and I rely on sign language for communication, they continued to speak to me, resulting in a communication barrier. One employee (The chubby Asian gentleman, possibly around 5’8”ft and has short hair, who appeared to be Chinese or Japanese,) in particular, showed stubbornness by not adjusting his communication method, causing frustration and embarrassment in front of other customers.

Awful service at this location. Before driving over with my mother load of empties I had been saving all summer long of ripping it, I checked their website for hours. Their website says 22935 Lougheed Hwy Maple Ridge location closes 6:00pm. I get here at 5:50pm with a quick express drop off, and there is a sign out there that says they close 5:45pm. I see people working in back, and noticed the garage doors were wide open. I go back there speak to the guy and he tells me they are closed. I tell him hours listed on website says 6pm and that all I want to do is drop my labelled bags. Literally a 3 second job... literally. The guy tells me their location doesn't have a website. How is that possible when the Return It website lists their address and hours!?!? The unprofessional guy didn't want to hear me. Save yourself the time and avoid this location. Now these stinky beer empties will be fermenting away in the back of my truck another couple days.

Be careful and get there early. They close and lock the doors and turn out the lights before closing. I understand not wanting to get stuck after your shift, but your posted hours should match. I had a bag to drop and have to carry it back home. Arrived at 5:40 - "closing at 5:45" is not accurate.

Terrible experience today! I brought my kids with me to teach them about recycling/responsibility.
After we sorted and went inside, we had a couple of water bottles with some remaining water that I needed to empty. (My bad as I usually rinse all recyclables at home, but a few slipped through!)
I asked the gentleman behind the counter, to which I could not understand a word he said due to his mumbling. He starts pointing to the wall on my right, which I am assuming he is pointing me in the direction to empty the water. Then he and his coworker get visibly upset and raise their voices yelling about taking a number and how it is on the wall in front of my face.
I know how to take a number and where the machine is located to do so. The issue was I couldn't understand their mumbling of where to empty the water and was unaware it was not required to empty them.
It was a simple misunderstanding, but what a way to treat a mother in front of her young kids and the line up of people behind me when I was nothing but polite.

If you pay a deposit on beer cans of $.10, you would expect to get back that $.10. This place gives you $.07. Don't waste your time. I'd bet as of November 1, they will only pay $.07 on the pop cans too. The Bottle depot behind Shoppers Drug mart off 203 will pay the right amount of $.10.

Website and in store sign state they take textiles but they don’t. I guess it’s too much work to cover that part of their in store sign.

Gerry was most helpful,especially to those of us who are not bottle return experts, I heard another customer say they would wait for Gerry to help him they like his customer service. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the guy who was being difficult and authoritarian.
